Riley blinked a few time. Wait...he had forgotten Angel was pregnant. The dog looked at the newborns and noticed that they weren't moving. Tenderly, Riley licked one of them to see what would happen.

"My Rose?" Vincent questioned.
"Who?" another female dog asked and looked at Rose. "Uh! You two-timer!" The puppy got up and left Vinny.
"W-wait! Susan!"

Angel cried..."Were keeping Angel over night to make sure she will be okay."The Vet said.The lady sighed."Okay...How much??""It's free."She said.

Riley nudged the puppy this time. "Move," he mumbled to it. "Do it for your mother. Please." The dog could feel tears forming in his eyes, too.

"Shut it, Tony!" Vincent growled at his brother. "And let her go. You can have Susan, anyway."

Riley barked and struggled against her, but the lady had a firm grip on him.

Vinny's mouth opened then closed. He felt tears form in his eyes and turned to walk away. He's right. Tony is better than I am.

"Why couldn't my cousin show me 'round town when I got here?" May asked herself. "Now I think I'm lost."

"Sorry Gia," Rin said and helped her up. "I wasn't watching where I was going."

Once in the car, Riley kept his eyes glued to the vet's office.

"What's up with you?" Penelope asked as she lied in the sun to dry her still-wet fur.

"Angel..." Riley whimpered sadly and lied down in front of the door. It was late and he knew he had to sleep but he couldn't. Not without Angel around.
