"Oh my gosh, I am SO sorry, I..." Zasshu stammered. "Had i known, I would have been the first to rescue you... oh, man. I'm such a terrible leader..." Zasshu lowered his head and ears

Cheyanne licked Zasshu on the cheek. "Zasshu, this isn't you fault. I didn't know, had I would known I would've told you. Yet, she's right there perfectly safe."Cheyanne answered.

Zasshu licked Cheyanne's cheek back, rubbing his muzzle under her chin.

"Thank you for comforting me when I need you, Cheyanne. I am always grateful of you for that." Zasshu then turned back to Cheyanne's mother with a warm smile on his face. "Welcome home."

For the next few days, Cheyanne spent more time with her siblings, friends, and family, and less time with her mate.

Zasshu felt lonely somewhat, and turned to his brothers and sister for company.

"Hey guys, guess what?" Markus asked.

"What?" Rukii answered.

"Last night I had a dream that Leif Garrett lived in my sock drawer." Markus said.

"Who's Leif Garrett?" Shinso asked, confused. "And what's a sock drawer?"

"Lolololol." Zasshu just laughed.

Dark began to fall, and the last of the sun made the snow simmer. Cheyanne walked to Zasshu. "Hey. What's goin on?" She asked, then grabbing Zasshu's scruff and gently pulling. She let go then rolled in the snow.

"Nothing much." Zasshu answered with a smile, then tackled Cheyanne playfully.

Chey stuck her nose under some snow, and flicked it on Zasshu.

Hey check out my new image. It has Markus, Shinso, and Rukii in it. Please leave a comment! XD

Zasshu took up a whole mouthful of snow and dumped it on Cheyanne's head.

Cheyanne, for the next few days, stayed about six miles away from the territory, and pack. Zasshu didn't see her for at least five days. He began to wonder.

On the fifth day, Zasshu confronted Cheyanne's eldest brother.

"Bulldog, no one has seen your sister in several days? Do you know what may have happened to Cheyanne?" Zasshu asked with concern in his voice.

Bulldog glared at him. And thought for a moment. "No. I haven't, I know she's still alive though. We howl to each other every now and then." He smiled. "Don't worry man, I mean, her pups don't seem to worry much. Just don't tell them yet. It might cause them to fear for her. Sometimes that can cause death, don't ask me how, I don't know." Bulldog stared into open space with wide open eyes, perked ears, and a blank face expression. "What the hell, did that make any sense to you?" He asked Zasshu staring at him. He shook his head while rolling his eyes. "OH well."

"What are you talking about, did it make sense? Of course it made sense, I'm not stupid." Zasshu answered.

Bulldog nodded. He looked over to a sight he caught in the corner of his eye. It was Cheyanne. She had a pup in her mouth, and thee on her back. She put them all down in the snow in front of Bulldog's and Zasshu's feet. She smiled at them.

Zasshu perked his ears in surprise, wide-eyed.
