Adam ~
He had a nice dream after a while but it lasted only for moments. He could feel something inside him saying, 'You should have just kept to yourself.' Adam gave it some thought but ignored it.

Next Day...

Villina woke early, as usual, her habit and got up, moving into the kitchen. She made breakfast, went into the office and sat at her desk, feeling really sick. She sighed, she couldn't let her sickness get in the way of work. Her assistant vet showed up and she directed him to take care of the animals. Her other staff arrived and she had to get up and instruct Floid her assistant as he checked overt the animals.

Adam ~
He woke up a few hours early so he could go to work earlier and get out earlier. He worked harder than anybody there when he was at work and the boss liked that. Adam continued working. Not letting anything distract him.

Villina helped and pitched in, but she was the boss, so it was her job to have her student to do the work, the front desk was manned by another and she had several volunteer kids taking care of the animals, which she also oversaw. There was the occasional operation that she had to do, including putting down several animals, which always made herself and the owners cry very hard, no matter how hard she tried.

Max sat in the back of the ambulance as they drove Diana to the hospital. He waited outside her room as operation started and he had his head in his hands, trying to be a 'man' and not cry.

Adam ~
Just like planned he got out of work a couple hours early and drove home. He got a quick shower and gave the kids whatever they wanted for breakfast. Adam grinned some as they ate.

Villina was finally shooed off by her student, who assured her that everything was fine. She walked from the shop to the house and came through the door, tired even though it was still early. She wasn't feeling too good either. She spotted Adam and the kids and smiled, "Morning." she said. She had an hour or two long break before she had to go back to her job and she walked into the living room, sitting on the couch.

Adam ~
He looked over at Villina. He didn't look at her the same way he always did. He looked back at the kids and smiled. He could tell they were excited about their birthday.

Villina rubbed her eyes and almost drifted asleep, it was the kid's birthday, she had to be there for them. She got up and and went into her brother's room and got out their cake, to show them. It was the very hungry caterpillar and she knew that they would love it. She walked back into the kitchen, putting it on the table.

Mason ~
Oohhhh, preety. He said and reached to touch it. Haley took his hand away and told him wait. Mason slouched and looked cross at her. They both giggled after a while and just relaxed. Waiting.

Villina smiled, "He's not the very hungry caterpillar, he's the very happy caterpillar." she joked, she walked to go get their presents, she had bought them a dozen or so things. They were, new toys for each (Five of the presents each), and one new shirt for each of them. Some stuff for their rooms too. She had a card from her mother and father with money for each of them. She was disappointed that they still refused to come to America. She also had a card from her brother for them, along with several presents from him.

Adam ~
He smiled. He still hadn't told his parents that he had kids because they wouldn't be very eager to hear it. They wanted to see their son a stud not a daddy. Adam shook his head with the thought and smiled at the kids.

Villina looked at all the presents. "Why don't we wait, Unless you kids want to open them now.." she said. She smiled at them, she loved them so much. She looked at Adam, she loved him too, more than she thought he knew. She looked at the presents again, giving the kids a choice.
