I sighed and decided to go downstairs to make sure Francis wasn't making out with Arthur. I walked down right when Arthur pushed him away. Francis stuffed a rose into his hands and winked. I growled "You...You...You filthy, remorseful, uneducated, un-intolerable, cheating, abusive, swine!" I yelled at the Frenchman who looked up at me and smirked "Get the f*ck out of my house!" I yelled. I knew he wouldn't go though.

Francis looked up at Riley, and raised his eyebrows.
"uneducated? I think not, and i have no boyfriend, so technically i am not cheating!" He said, wrapping his arm back around Arthur, and put pressure on the small of Arthur's back, making the younger flinch away.
"Besides, zis is Arthur's house, no? He could kick you out." Arthur, surprisingly, had been quiet the whole time.

I gapped at him and stuttered for words "I-...He-....We-...Uhhhh.." I felt on the verdge of tears but I only managed "But..I love him..." As if that was enough explanation for him to go away. As if those simple words would make everything better. I stood there, my shoulders tence, but slumped. I looked at Arthur, who was silent and frowned "Okay...I get it..." I choked "You're playing the choice game eh, Frenchy? You think Arthur will pick you! Well hah! He won't! He loves...me? Right...?" I said, asking a bit at the end to the unresponding Arthur. My breath caught. I kept repeating my words I love you..I love you.. I love you... But even with that thought pressed in my head I couldn't be sure if he'd pick me.

"I-.." Arthur stumbled on his words, blinking confusedly as he looked from Francis to Riley. The frenchman smirked.
"You never stop loving your first love, no? Did Arthur tell you about zat?" He asked, and Arthur looked back at his shoes.

My hands shook. The sudden shock of a soon goodbye catching up to me. I took a step back, forcing myself to blink back tears. Me and Arthur would always be close, just last night we were laced in each others arms. Now look at us. He wouldn't even answer a question of who he loved more. I blinked another tear back, but felt one slip through "Okay Arthur..." I said weakly "It's just a simple choice...Me or him?" I asked, so terrifyed for an answer.

"I dont....know.." The brit muttered confusedly, begining to shake. Francis smirked, and sighed.
"Vell, Riley, It's clear Arthur vill choose me." He purred, glaring at Riley.

"F*ck you" I said simply to the frenchman, then looked at Arthur, urdging his answer.

"I SAID I DONT KNOW DA**IT!" Arthur shouted, jolting away from Francis and walking into the living room and sitting down on the couch. Francis frowned, and rolled his beautiful blue eyes and went to sit down next to Arthur.

"Why would you even have to think about it?" I muttered, though I knew he didn't hear me. I stood, frozen, my arms and hands not moving. My joints stiffy, everything still. I was still in the kitchen, Arthur had walked back me to go to the living room. I wouldn't move, how could I?

"I have to think about it because i love you both Riley! What Francis and i had was almost exactly like this!" Arthur said helplessly, and the Frenchman nodded.
"Wee, it vas," Francis concluded.

I snorted "Exactly, what you had, didn't he break your heart a first time? I mean, seriously, why would you want to go back to this frog if you know he's able to break your heart? But whatever. I'm not the one deciding for you..." I muttered, still staying stiff in my place.

"Why do you think he ended it Riley?" Arthur demanded, standing up again, putting his hands on his hips, the familiar fire coming back into his vibrant green eyes. "You know what? Get out. Riley, im sorry but, god, you broke me and Alfred apart, he won't barely speak to me! And now, you wont even look at my ex, who is a still a good friend, without spitting some name at him!?" He barked, folding his slender arms over his chest. "I dont want to deal with this anymore."

I blinked, a stern what? inprinted in my head. This wasn't happenening, was it? I blinked again, absorbing what he just said. The truth hit my like a bag of bricks, I felt my chest heave but I just blinked once more. I had so much more to say, but I only replied with an "Okay." I walked slowly to the door. Shay woofed and wagged her tail, I frowned and ignored her "Bye Shay." I muttered opening the door. I looked back once more, and felt tears inch under my eyes. I wanted to say so much, I wanted to break down and cry. But I didn't. I felt a lump in my throat and my breath caught "Don't expect me to come back, Arthur" I murmered, before closing the door behind me. I walked a bit away from his house, just enough to round the corned before I broke down. I let a sob pass by and I had to lean against a brick wall for support. The sobbing didn't help my pain, but I kept doing it. I felt my chest heave again, that same old pain digging it's way deeper. My cheeks were wet and sticky, my eyes red and tired. I wiped my nose and started walking again, unsure of where I was going.

Arthur watched her go, then his eyes widened as he looked at his hands, which were shaking.
"What have i done?" He muttered, and Francis slipped an arm over his shoulder.
"Arthur, you did ze right thing! I am your true love!" He said, smiling happily.

I wondered around, then I noticed I wasn't even dressed properly. I was wearing one of Alfred's shirts, that were knee-length for me, and a pair of Pajama shorts. I sighed, realizing I left all of my stuff at his house, but I wouldn't go back. I kept walking, my barefeet getting dirty. A few people looked me up and down and shook their head at me, thinking I was a bum. But I didn't really care or notice them. I just kept walking, my heart feeling like it'd been ripped out of my chest. I stumbled across a pub and looked at the sign, yes. It was open. I licked my lips and walked in. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a whiskey.
"First customer of the day, surprised to see it be a lass" The bar-tender mused. I grumbled something and gulped down the drink.
"Yeah, well. It's been a rough morning..." I muttered. He looked at me with that fake concern they all had.
"Breakup?" He guesss.
"Bingo, and the sh*ty part about it is, I live in America so I have no family to go to. I was f*cking living with that b*stard and he dumped me for a d*mb a** Frenchman" I muttered, gulping another whiskey down, but no matter how many drinking I had, the pain wouldn't go away.
