"No I can't, I made a promise to you and I'm keeping it," Furahi said, "Not only to you but to Kiara as well, if I came back, without you, I'll be banished to these lands again, it's horrible, this is not a place for a cub, cubs don't last long here Mto, Merah will use you and once she is done with you..." Furahi couldn't finish the sentence.

"She'll eat you cub, like as well as I would," Kejeli snided evilly.

Mto pondered with thoughts for a moment then thought something, "Well, what If i where to be on your side with Zira, I would be able to keep Kiara's cubs busy and off your back."

"Nothing much," said Merah, driving her claw deep enough into Mto's tail to draw a trickle of blood. She then noticed something on her foot, looking over and seeing a large, black scorpion. She jumpped with a scream, which was uncharacteristic, but justified, as it was the same type Zira used to extract venom from, the one that could paralyze an adult lion for a good while. As a result, her paw left Mto's tail and she accidentally bashed Kejeli in the nose with the back of her paw, pretty much splattering the scorpion all over the other lioness' face.

Kejeli screamed running around in circles, trying to find any source of water to get the splattered scorpion off her face if it was one thing Kejeli hated it was scorpions, and having one splattered over her face took the cake.

Furahi took this time and ran to Mto picking her up and running off back towards the Pridelands, once back she set her down to catch her breath, oce she caught her breath, she grabbed Mto and starting checking her body over making sure she was alright, all she saw was a slightly wounded tail, but that would heal withing a few days, "Mto what on Earth wee you doing there?" she asked strenly.

Mto cowered down onto the ground shakingly, thinking she was in trouble, and a lot of trouble.

Furahi saw the look in Mto's eyes, she sighed, "Mto, your not in trouble, I'm just disappointed, not only in you but in myself, I should've told you to not go there," Furahi said, "You see when I saw you were there, and saw you at the paws of Merah, I felt something, I couldn't lose you, I care deeply for you Mto, I'd give my life for," she said hugging Mto close to her, "I won't tell anyone about this, not even the King and queen, not even Kiara or Kovu," she said crying, "Now promise me, you won't go there again," she said, holding Mto even tighter to her body. "You may not be in trouble Mto, but you are not leaving my sight, if you go anywhere, I will come along."

Kejeli stopped running around in circles as she found the river, dunking her head into the slightly dirty water she wiped the scorpion guts and probably even poision off her face, she shook her head to get the remaining water, once done she looked around, "Merah!!!" she she shouted as she stomped her way to Merah.

Merah was busy making sure she'd not been stung by the scorpion. "What is it?" she asked, ignoring her friend's anger. "I'm not any happier about this than you are dear," she stated, in her normal, psudo polite voice. "And I almost got stung by that vile creature, if I had, not only would we likely have lost them both, I'd be paralyzed."

Kiara moved out to get some fresh air, looking down at the two. "Hey, what's wrong?" she asked, not seeing any wounds on either lioness from her vantage point.

Furahi looked up, "Nothing I just fell on my wounds, it hurt a lot," she lied, hoping that Kiara would buy the lie

"You should've been watching, more carefully, and like you would care but, I could've been blinded," she said

Mto looked at Kiara and put a smile on her face, "And i was trying to attack her playfully." she said in a happy tone.

"What is going on out here?!" roared Zira, hearing the arguing between her two subjects and walking out.

Kiara nodded, jumping down to a lower ledge. "Mto...can I talk to you privitely for a second?"

Mto looked at Furahi then back at Kiara and nodded getting off of Furahi, and made sure that Kiara wouldn't see her tail that much.

Kejeli turned and bowed her head to Zira, "I came to tell you that...Furahi knows to much, I don't know how she knows of our plan, it was way to risky to stay there much longer," she said, "And we just had one of the other cubs, Merah was watching her while I was coming to tell you the status of the the pridelands, Furahi somehow managed to come here, and find her, I cam shortly after I heard her shout at Merah, I didn't hea much of the conversation but then a scorpion, the same exact type of scorpion you used the venom from...she paniced, and hit me with it splattering it all over my face. and the rest is history."

'Oh no, Kiara knows,' Furahi said to herself,

Zira gave a snarl. "Well, I can't blame you for panicing, even I'm afraid of those blasted things..." she muttered. "As for Furahi...I don't think she knows THAT much so long as you didn't say anything about it out there, did you?"

Kiara looked to Furahi and put a paw on her shoulder. "Thank you for being so kind to little Mto, it means a lot..." she said, thankfully, before leading the cub back to the den. "Mto...are you...are you sure you want to go through with this plan of yours?"

"No problem Kiara," Furahi said smiling.

"Well yes and no, you see she talked it out of me, and only to her, she said she'd never tell anyone, and I know her, when she makes a promise she keeps her promises, she's holding it against me, you should remember her, Zira, we used her before."
