Zero thought back and told Rollie about what had happened in the Fleabite, all the way up until now. "... And that's how me and Charlie got hurt and why I'm up here."

Rollie stare at Zero with eyes as open as they could be. "Man you had a rough day. Literally. I've never been into a fist fight but I did get in trouble where I used to live and that is why I had to come to San Francisco." Did I just say he thought to himself.

"I've been in worse..." Zero said, scratching his head. His tongue had healed nicely.

Mishka trotted upstairs, curious of where she should sleep."Hey guys, oh my-Zero are you alright?" She asked, a little worried for Zero.
Nika grabbed a left over pot roast and chopped it up with a knife before putting it on plates "Dinner guys!" She yelled up the stairs, she had cut enough peices for ll of them and didn't want them to go hungry.

Zero swallowed a lump of embarrassment in his throat. "Er... Yeah. I'm fine. Just got a little beat up getting Charlie out of the Fleabite once, then having to go get him again after he went into the brawl..."

"I can't... I can barely see, and I don't trust going downstairs with my eyesight like this." Zero said, blushing a bit underneath his fur. What is wrong with me?!

Mishka giggled "Then I'll bring some to you guys then." She smiled, running down the stairs and grabbing the plates "Come eat with us Nika!" Mishka called as she walked up the stairs, Nika following closley behind her, not wanting to bump her."C'mon Lucky, we're eating upstairs." She called to her pup before opening the door to the room "Nika cooked this, its great!" Mishka smiled, licking her lips.

Rollie got really excited. He began to wag his tail so hard that when ever he hit the wall a loud thud sounded. He didn't care about the food he wanted to see Nika. "Ya, telling me that Nika is coming upstairs?" Rollie couldn't be happier that he could see Nika again he was head over heals in love with her.

"Soon as food is up and running so is the mutt with a hollow leg and tail." Zero muttered, chuckling.
