"Well, technically they're penguin-otters, but yes, penguin," Setsuko insisted. "Kuilak hunts during our expeditions. Sometimes he's lucky enough to catch something...and if there's enough, he lets me take some home." She smiled at the memories.

Penguin-otters. Sounded like something made as an experiment or something. "Do you guys go on expeditions alot?" Rue asked.

"Yeah, almost every day. We're assigned as exploring partners. We don't have to go as often as we do, but it's fun...and it's something to do! You'd be amazed how boring it can get at camp!"

"Probably," Rue agreed.

Setsuko didn't particularly notice Rue's comment. "Do you get bored easily at your house?" She asked.

"Well, not usually. Sometimes I do," she said, thinking it over. Most of the times was spent flying, sparring, or doing other random activities.

Setsuko nodded, slightly absent-minded. She turned her fish over so the other side could cook. "What do you do for fun?" She asked.

"Mostly fly around," Rue answered. "We spar alot, and go on hikes and stuff," she said.

"Sounds cool. Hikes, huh? I was on a hike when I....found you." Setsuko sighed. If she had just listened to her mother and stayed at the campsite, would she be at home right now, rather than outside an old cabin in an unknown world?

Rue let out a silent sigh, wishing she hadn't flew off, staying home in her warm bed. Would she osmehow still be in this situation, even if she had?

Setsuko pulled the fish out of the fire. Looked pretty well cooked. She waited a moment for it to cool, then took a bit. Wasn't bad...a bit more forest-y and smoky than the fish she ate at home, but she knew that you had to take what you get in a place like this.

Rue took her's out as Setsuko removed her's. She blew on it gently, holding the fish close to her mouth. Heat rose off of it, and her mouth watered as the scent also rose. She took a bite, savoring the flavor for a brief moment, then swallowing.

Setsuko finished hers quickly, not wanting to waste time eating. She sat patiently , glancing around the clearing, waiting for Rue to finish.

Rue noticed tat Setsuko was glancing around aimlessly, and ate the rest quickly. She put the now clean stick down, brushing back her messy black hair.

ooc---Rue's hair is black? I thought it was really dark brown. XD

"So," Said Setsuko, noticing that Rue was finished. "Now what?"
