Jamie whiped away his tears and said, " Mike, look. No body in the world will touch you. As long as I live and till I die. Nobody. Even if it ends up to be just us again. We will live together. As alpha male and female." She smiled and nuzzled him.

1 YEAR LATER
Mike was feeling the best he had in a long time. Standing up after a good night's sleep, he limped out of the house, now fully taken over by the pack. Smelling the fresh morning air, he looked around happily, and spotted who he was looking for.
"Hay Jamie! Good morning!"

Jamie smiled, " Hello Mike. You look great." She smiled, " They had migrated to a nice place in a medow with lots of dens for the pack, "Oh! That remindes me, I need to gather the hunting party. I'll be back." She smiled and let out a long howl telling them to join her on a hunt.

"Looks like there will be a storm later. You think everyone will be alright with hunting in the rain?"

She smiled, " If it rains, you can go back with some of the pack members. You know how some of their skin is sensitive in the rain." She smiled, " But, just those few. The rest of us will be fine in the rain." She smiled then shouted, " LET'S GO!" At that, they ran as one Mike and Jamie leading.

As Mike was running, a slow smile crept across his face, and a small tear appeared in him eye. He hadn't run like this since he rescued Jamie from that man. It felt so good to be running again.

Jamie saw a herd of deer and abruptly stopped running. The pack saw her stop and they stopped also. She turned to them and said, "Ok. If it rains, Mike will take the wolves in the pack that have sensitive skin, and you will follow him back." The pack agreed, " Now, we will try for the bull. You all know what to do." They attacked the bull as they took their corners slowly circling it.

Mike watched in amazement. He hadn't ever watched his own pack hunt without being in it himself. They were well trained in the art of it.
