Luke cuddled close to Iron, trying to find warmth and comfort from the larger dog. "I'm a coydog, half coyote, half dog." he said. "People say you had a wolfdog son, is that anything like what I am?"
Balto, Fang, and Dusty all agreed. "We have to stop him." he said. "And get him back behind bars were he belongs."

"That's the point Steele." said Balto. "If a dog kills a human, even a piece of scum like Mako, they'll put you to sleep." he said. "And Mako knows it...he tried to get Jenna to kill him when she saved me."

"You don't have that option Steele...you've got a mate waiting for you back home." said Balto. "So do I, that means we don't have the luxery of dieing or letting Mako kill us."
"Promise?" asked Luke.
Mako walked to the top of the stairs, so quietly nether of the dogs would hear. He threw a chain and hit a water pipe in the ceiling. Water started pooring into the basement. "Your family's comin Iron, heard it from a dog, looks like all they'll find is a wet dead dog." he said and left, locking the door.

"Maybe we should go up the stairs." Luke whimpered. "The top of the stairs is higher than the roof." he said, climbing on Iron's back, Iron would be able to feel the pups heart racing and him whimpering.

Luke whimpered but tried to be brave. "Is someone coming to help you?"
They were in sight range of MAko's house. "Alright, we need a plan or we'll never get there in time." Balto said. "I say some of us distract Mako's dogs and Mako while someone else gets Iron out, he's probably in the basement.
