"Huh. Well a best friend has to protect you, Gia," T.P said and poked Rin in the chest. "And he doesn't look like he can protect you."
"Back off," Rin growled.

Riley blinked a few times. The lady didn't seem upset that another dog was in her house.

Riley wagged his tail a little. He was a bit unsure of how to act towards her.

"I thought I was your best friend," T.P said.
"Maybe she found a new one," Rin mumbled and T.P snarled out, "What did you just say?"

T.P sighed. "Well since you're having fun with this guy, me and Cookie are gonna go eat. Bye." T.P frowned and left them.

Rin watched him go. "Your friend, eh?"

"Your owner's nice," Riley told her.

Riley nodded. He heard the knocking and started to bark, something he always did to tell his old owner that he had a visitor.

"I'm not," T.P said. "I...you just seem happy with that guy so I'm letting you two have some fun." He smiled at Gia. "Just be home before it's really late, okay?"

Rin got up and walked out of the woods.

Riley huffed and lied back down. He had forgotten he wasn't home anymore.
