"Rin," he answered and walked up to Gia. "And you are..."
"Haha, really funny, T.P" Cookie said and pounced on him. "But, you see how I'm just easily knocking you down? I think YOU'RE the weak one."

Rin laughed. "Okay, Gia, if you're not lost why are you wandering around the woods, eh? Oh wait, you said you were sad, didn't you?"
Riley nuzzled Angel. "So what happened with you while I was gone?" Suddenly he growled. "No other male messed with you did they?"

Riley nodded and removed his head from Angel's side. He looked at the setting sun and knew he had to get home soon...but he really didn't want to go back there.
Rin was quiet for a second before agreeing. "Sure," he said and bowed down in a playing position.
Cookie then got off of her friend before he tried to push her again. Sitting down, Cookie scratched her leg. "Hey, so where's your friend Gia at? I haven't seen her all day. She...she didn't abandon the gang, did she?"

Riley smiled but didn't say anything.

"Angel?" Riley asked and looked at her. "Can I stay with you? I-I mean, my owner's kinda...abusive so I don't want to go back there. Ever."
There. He said it; now the gray husky waited for Angel's response.

The older dog sighed happily. "Thanks," he said. "I really appreciate it, Angel."
"Eh?!" Rin saw Gia racing ahead of him. "Hey, no fair!" he laughed and ran after her.
Aw man! I'm never gonna catch up with her!
