"I guess so," Rue said, wiping her eyes again, though it was not needed. "Squirells or fish first?" she asked.

Setsuko shrugged. "You pick."

"Let's do the fish first, we'll need to gut and skin the squirells before eating them anyway," she said.

"Alright." Setsuko handed Rue a fish. After a moment, she asked, "...Or would you rather cook them?" Jaci, on the other hand, was already gnawing at one of them, breaking it down with his strong teeth.

"Do you mind if I cook 'em?" Rue asked.

"If you want to. I don't mind either way."

Rue nodded. "Okay then," she said, walking outside and setting up a fire. She used the rocks from last time, she had saved them. She soon had a blaze roaring, , and she found a nearby stick, whittling off the bark adn sticking the fish on it. She held it over the fire, sitting on her heels.

Setsuko brought the other fish out...at least, the ones Jaci hadn't gnawed. "Doing all of them, or just yours?" Setsuko asked. "I'll do mine if you have a spare stick."

Rue took the fish out of the fire, blowing on it gently. She used the other hand to give Setsuko a stick and a knife to whittle the bark off of it. "THere you go," she said, then moved the fish so where it was over the blaze again.

"Thanks," Said Setsuko. She used the knife to scrape off the bark as she'd seen Rue do and then speared her fish before holding it out to cook over the fire. She was a bit wary at first, not eager to chance getting burned, but as she sat there, she gained confidence, relaxing visibly while the fish cooked slowly.

Rue kept her focus on the fish, watching it sizzle slightly.

"So..." Setsuko muttered, bored by the silence. "Do you do this often at home?"

Rue nodded. "Yeah, we do it alot," she said. "But mostly with like, Pop-Tarts or something," she added.

Setsuko was a little confused at the mention of this thing called "pop-tart", but she decided not to ask. "We do it a lot, but not on sticks. More often on pots. We also make soup and stew. We eat mostly fish along with certain vegetables, but if we're lucky, we have penguin."

"Penguin?" Rue asked. She had eaten like, deer and stuff, but not penguin.
