OOC: Darn....

Russet stared at the water. In the reflection, he saw Julius laughing at him. He yelped and flinched back. "I've lost my mind," he whispered gruffly to himself, slowly as he tried to pronounce each word carefully. He then walked with the rest of the pack.

Russet continued to hallucinate as he saw shapes dance around him. He even thought he heard a conversation among them. Stories flooded through his head, especially ones of Drakaar.

'I power the sun. I'm very important.'
'I power the moon. I'm just as important!'
'What do you power Drakaar? Oh yeah, darkness. Not important!'

Not important. Was that what he was? Just some silly, useless wolf that impregnated a dog, and sneaks away from her to become the Omega of a pack?

He sighed and shook his head. He squinted as he looked forward --tried to, really-- and followed in the back of the pack.

Russet shoved through the snow. It was gusty, and the wind was biting at his face, causing him to lose sight in front of him. When he was able to open his eyes again, truth smacked him in the face, just like the bitter cold.

Mareem.

Russet tensed and actually, unvoluntarily, edged closer to Harmony.

Russet didn't even see Harmony. His eyes were focused on his bas**** of a father.

Mareem's coat glimmered in the weak, pale sun. "Ah, so you finally got rid of that stupid dog, eh Russet?" he snickered.

Husster snorted. "You are not allowed on our territory. You must get out or---"

Husster was cut off as Mareem pinned him to the ground, biting his neck furiously, killing the old Aplha quickly. "That's better."

Russet snarled. "Get out of here. OUT!" His stomach churned at the thought that he might have to fight his father again. He remained with his hackles raised and his body rigid. "You're a cunning bas****, I'll give you that. But you're not going to watch us all die in your sick little game. Leave now." he commanded coldly.

Mareem sneered. "And if I don't?" he teased promptly.

"I'll fight you."

Mareem laughed, his eyes full of doubt. "That's like a leaf and a rock fighting. Guess which one you are, son?"

"Who's this? You're new princess?" he glared coldly at Harmony. His eyes scanned her in digust. "She's worse than that dog you dragged along with you."

Russet snarled. "She is NOT my.... mate, or whatever you want to call her. She is NO princess, but she's not as repulsive as you!"

"Leave." Simplicity would either kill Russet or help him.

It helped him. "Fine," Mareem snorted and padded off into his territory.

Russet snorted and padded off to Husster. He licked the old male's muzzle, the cold radiating off of him. His eyes were full of guilt and denial. He then turned in the oppostie direction of his father, heading south, towards where Delilah should be, though he wasn't sure.
