"Dreamed about seeing Katie wake up when we got back." said Balto. "You know, my dreams normally have some truth in them."
Lena pinned her ears. "There was this really big scary animal...I don't know what it was but it was white with black stripes."
Cachen tugged on his bandana, looking up at Mr. Samson, telling him to take it off before starting to wash him. He looked to Tai. "Its alright, he deserves for you to be mad at him." he said. "Just don't be mad when he's not here, alright? Just forget about him."

Mr. simpson nodded, taking off the bandana before beginning to wash Cachen.
Tai nodded. "I know, but I also know most of the anger isn't really mine...I told Grandpa, but I don't know." she scratched her nack lightly, as she always did when she was a bit frustrated.
Kodi nodded, thinking a minute. "did it look like it was form around here?" he asked, a bit concerned about the dream. Perhaps it was something Lena's imagination had simply put together?
Jenna smiled. "She is a sweet girl." she nodded however, knowing Balto was right "Well, look at the whole Aleu fiasco."

Cachen nodded. "Well Lena has a gift, you know like Auntie Aleu's, maybe you do to." he said. "Maybe you're reading someone else's mind or something."
Lena shook her head. "I've never seen anything like it...except maybe a little like a cat but much bigger, bigger than a wolf."
Balto nodded. "And the flying thing." he said. "It happens."

Tai shook her head. "I...don't know. If Momma or Auntie Aleu were here, they could explain it." she sighed "You know, it's not important right now."
Kodi shook his head. "I've never seen what you're describing, Lena." he looked a bit concerned; was it Lena's imagination that made this creature?
Jenna nodded. "That's very true. Since that first epidemic, you've grown more in tune with both sides of yourself."

Balto nodded. "The wolf half needed more than the dog." he said. "I used to hate that half of me, now I don't know what I'd do without it."
Lena whimpered and cuddled close to Kodi. "I hope we don't meet that thing...it looked really scary but...for some reason it didn't feel evil, just...really mad."
Cachen nodded and relaxed a little as the smell on him started to go away at Mr. Samson washed him. "Yeah, what's importent now is smelling better, we really stink huh?" he said, putting a paw on his nose.

Jenna smiled. "Otherwise you wouldn't have been able to bring back to medicine."
Kodi nodded, still very puzzled by what his daughter was telling him.
Tai laughed, giving a soft nod. "Yea...But then again this was a good place to sleep at first glance, it was a simple mistake."

Balto nodded. "Thank my mom for that, I wouldn't of accepted that part without it...and Boris helpped some."
Lena nodded. "I don't think it was a mean animal, just an angry one, which is better because an angry animal can be reasoned with, a mean animal like Niju can't."
Cachen nodded but whimpered. "Sorry for getting most of us skunked." he said.

Tai nodded. "It's okay, Cachen. What happened was an accident."
Mr. Simpson smiled, finishing Cachen up and gingerly lifting him out of the tub. He reached down, grabbing Tai and placing her in the tomato juice.
Kodi nodded, trying not to look astounded at the truth in his young Daughter's words.
Jenna chuckled, placing a paw on his. "Oh definately, i'll thank her next time you run into her." she winked, before nuzzling Balto's chest.

Cachen rolled to get the juice out of his fur and slid his bandana back on again. "Alright, thank you sis." he said. He jumpped up and licked Mr. Samson's cheek in thanks for washing the skunk smell off.
Lena nodded and then jumpped on her dad, smiling playfully. "Let's play, I want to warm up before we start up."
Balto nuzzled her back. "I think that would be good...what do you think Aniu thinks of Cachen? Think she'd be the one to comment on how much he looks like me as a pup?"

Mr. simpson gave a gentle laugh, rubbing Cachen's head as her washed Tai with the other hand.
Tai smiled, giving a light nod. "You're welcome."
Kodi laughed, gently bopping his daughter between the ears.
Jenna shrugged, shaking her head. "I don't know, Balto. I honestly do not know what to say. But I think you're right."

Cachen smiled, liking having his head rubbed. "You look good red Tai."
LEna staggered and fell then giggled. "Guess who I was copying papa." she said, she had been mimicking Star, having seen him and Kaltag do a simular thing.
Balto nodded. "I think I am too, mom would know what I looked like Cachen's age."

Jenna nodded. "Well she would. she is your Mother, afterall."
Mr. simpson smiled, continuing to rub one pup and bathe the other.

"Hey I'm the same age as you." said Cachen. "We're both puppies."
Lena chuckled but then let out an "Owch." she rubbed her jaw. "Some of my teeth hurt papa." she whimpered.
Balto nodded. "I remember what you looked like as a pup, wouldn't it be weird if Cachen met a female his age that was your twin?"

Cachen chuckled. "I guess you're right."
Lena opened her mouth, her two canines were loose, they were her baby teeth. She also had a piece of bone from some meat stuck in her gum near another tooth.
Balto nodded. "Yeah, it does, and that's a good thing because we'll get the antitoxin through again."
