"He's got Alex with him, if anything, she'll protect him. Have you seen her letter from the king in her kingdom, she's her best man. Anyways, a girl'l be good for him, maybe he'll finally find a wife." Felix said, confident in his son and his protector.

Anna sighed and nodded, "If you say so. He just grew up so fast, it seems like only yesterday that I was feeding him and giving him baths and reading him bed time tales and, time just goes by too fast. My baby boy is all grown up now." She said and looked over at Felix. She couldn't help but fear the worst. If he married, what would happen then? She would loose her son completely then. She would have nothing to mother or treat like a baby anymore. She decided to think about this another time.

OOC::// I'm home, sick, so I can RP for a while.

Felix gave her a reassuring smile, "I know, I know, but maybe some day you'll have a grandson to spoil." he said softly, trying to put her mind at ease.

Alex returned her attention to her drink as David finished his story, glad to see him having a good time.

Anna nodded, the thought of having a grandchild made her feel old. She smiled weakly and walked over to him, putting her arms around him and putting her head on his chest. "You know. I wouldn't mind having a kid of my own." She said, shrugging her shoulders gently. It didn't matter to her really, but whatever Felix said would be what she would have to decide on dealing with. If it was a no that would be the end of discussion, if yes, whoopie.

David finished his drink and smiled, a few of the men still trying to talk to him about a lot of the fights he had been in. "Oh once when I was about 10, just a wee lad I was, I got into a fight with my friend. We battled for ages before we were both so tired we just fell over." He chuckled, the men around him laughed.

Felix blinked back his surprise. He rose, hugging her gently. "If you want, I just thought you didn't want anymore kids..." he said, willing to do whatever she really wanted.

Alex started a conversation of her own as several other men joined her and the man she'd been talking to. It was always nice, to be with new people. She started to explain how she'd become a knight.

Anna smiled deeply, "What gave you that impression?" She said with a grin. She looked over her shoulder and out the window. "It's beautiful outside. Do you want to go on a ride?" She asked, looking up at him. Layla was in the stalls with a couple of the stable hands, she was giving everyone a hard time. It was terrible when they tried to wash or brush her, she only wanted Felix/Anna's attention and nobody elses.

David leaned over to one of his new friends, talking quietly before laughing. A man in the crowd chimmed in, "Hey! Prince David!" He said, David looking over in horror. "I-I don't know what you mean I'm no prince." He said simply, trying to smile. The guy shook his head and fought his way in front of him. "Yes you are. I went to Princess Anna's speech a few years back, I know that your her son. No princess would dare let her son walk out without his good luck charm, or his guard." He said, pointing at Alex. The men around him agreed, looking David over. David chuckled, "She's not my guard. She's a friend and that's it." He said, smiling in confidence.

Felix shrugged at her first question and nodded at her second. "I'd love to go on a ride, get out for a bit." he grinned, glad that she wanted to.

Alex turned her head at the mention of David's name. Her heart sank, his reputation of prince had been found again, but she was glad he had been able to enjoy being slightly normal for a bit. She gave him a slight smile, she wasn't exactly his guard, but she didn't mind the idea so much.

The men nodded in suspicion, not dwelling too much on the subject as they contiued to have a good time. David yawned and looked over at Alex, giving her a friendly wink before turning back around and enjoying another drink. He smiled deeply as the men pressed no more further questions. He was glad.

Anna's smile widened and she began outside, "Then what are we waiting for?" She asked with a giggle, waltzing out the front door and walking with a skip in her step to the stables. There she mounted Layla with just her reigns and no other equipment. She smiled and waited for Felix on Sirius.

Felix swung onto Sirius, also lacking saddles or any other equipment. He smiled at her, "Ready?" he asked.

Alex smiled, glad the men he had made friends with didn't pry she returned to her conversation with the men, picking up her glass and starting to enjoy herself once more.

Anna nodded once. "Can you keep up?" She asked before kicking Layla's sides. The big horse lunged forward, using her back legs to propel her forward with great speed. Anna smiled deeper as she turned and looked at Felix. She was competitive and very horse smart. She smiled some, enjoying the feel of wind through her hair.

Felix grinned, "Naturally," he said, though she couldn't hear him. He urged Sirius after her and the big horse leapt into action, his massive hooves eating up the ground like a hungry predator. He laughed, glad she had mentioned a ride. He needed it and he saw that now.

Princess Anna turned and looked at him once, giving him a big smile before turning back around and pushing Layla a bit harder. The horse's legs ate the ground with no problem, leaping over a small shrub as she began to border the forest. Anna made her vere off to the side, making sure that Layla was riding on the outside and not in the forest. She smiled a bit deeper, testing her own horse.

Felix grinned and urged Sirius faster. The big horse obliged and soon they were riding right next to Anna and Layla. He laughed and smiled over at her, this was extremely fun.

Alex glanced outside, it was getting late, but she didn't want to leave. She glanced at David, wondering if he wouldn't mind staying a night here at the inn.

Anna smiled and looked over at Felix. "Just like old times!" She said and laughed, urging Layla to go even faster. Pulling ahead by only an inch or two. She smiled, knowing Layla was enjoying this too. She was nickering and whinning more than she had ever been before. But she was enjoying the freedom feeling again.
