"H*ll yeah you did." Alfred scoffed, before softening up a bit. "Listen, you can still start over. Get a real job, make enough to buy your own apartment, or rent. You can stay..with Arthur and me until you have enough! Stop smoking, and drinking," Alfred mused, picturing the old Kat in his mind, he knew she was in there somewhere.
"I know..i know you're still alive, the old you." He smiled, touching the seat of the car. "You mean something to me and i don't want to watch you throw your life away."

Kat hated people who went around feeling sorry for themselves. Whenever she used to see people with a constant frown on their face, she’d think of them as losers. And now here she was, wallowing around, being sorry for herself. She half listened to Alfred’s words, but she mostly just listened to his voice. She knew he was disappointed with her, and she knew that he would always remember this phase of her life. Kat gave a dragging sigh, looking out the window, her tears had stopped. Her crystal blue eyes darted over to him quickly, and then she looked ahead, thinking. The seconds dragged buy without her uttering a syllable. And then she spoke:
“I don’t want to live with you Alfred.” Was all she said. She bit back her frown, keeping her focus on the dashboard.

"I know but you've got to get yourself together and act like a grownup Kat." alfred huffed, feeling odly parent-like. "You should stop acting like a kid." He said, a frown apon his face.

Kat looked at his with a dumb-founded expression. “I can do whatever I want! I’m not acting like a kid; I’m just not ready to become what my parents were! I don’t want to settle down! I don’t want a steady income! I want to have fun!” Kat snapped, she huffed, readying herself to depart the scene. “You wouldn’t get it though. No one does.” She added in a bitter tone. She resorted to pushing people away. Pushing Alfred away, the one person who still cared about her. Kat swung out of the car, her blood in a hot boil.

Alfred grabbed her arm, yanking her back in, slamming the door behind her.
"You are. You're acting like a f**king nine year old! Grow up Kat! You have to start sometime!" He snapped, but there was no way he was stopping now."All you ever do is complain, about how hard life is, and how you want to do what you want. Well, you're an adult now! You have to start making the right decisions! Find a guy! Someone who's more than a 'one nighter'!! Clean yourself up and look your age, and maybe someone will go after you, because DAYUM, Kat you look 40 or older!" Alfred said icily.

Kat glared at him menacingly. “Since when do you get to run my life? F*ck it, leave me the h*ll alone! I don’t want you, I don’t want my parents, I don’t want anyone! I don’t care if I don’t act my f*cking age, Alfred. I don’t care if I look like sh*t. I don’t care what you have to say! I don’t care!” Kat said, her voice at a scream.

"I'm not but i thought we were friends and..you were my first Kat! That makes you special to me! I love you Kat, you know that and i don't want to see you give up on life!!" He growled, tears forming at his eyes. Yelling at Kat hurt, seeing her throw her life away..that hurt too.

“Yeah, whatever.” Kat growled, crossing her arms and looking out the window. She didn’t want to be here right now, she wanted to be far away.

Alfred huffed, he'd never get through to her, nobody would. He hoped she had a good life, because reality was going to hit her, hard.
"Fine. don't listen. But don't show up on my frontstep anymore. I hope you have a fun time selling yourself, because i regret you being my first anyways. Arthur's much better than you." He retorted, opening the door to his side and preparing to leave.

Kat looked at him when he said that, she could handle him yelling at her, she could handle him threatening to never see her again, she could handle him insulting everything about her, but what he finally said, hurt. Tears formed in her eyes as she looked over his smoldering figure.
“I-I’m sorry…” She gagged, feeling herself begin to sob. She hunched herself over and buried her face in her hands “I’m sorry I’m a mess. I’m sorry I put you through all of this..” Kat cried softly.

"No you're not." Alfred growled, finally not taking pity on her for crying. She deserved this, to feel bad about what she did.
"Arthur was right..you're no good for me unless you prove it. Well no he didn't say prove it, but still!"

Kat looked at him again, her lower lip quivered. She assumed he didn't love her anymore and looked at her hands. He didn't care, no one cared, no one. It was all her fault, and as much as Kat wanted to deny it, she knew it was true. She did it to herself.
"Okay Alfred. You can go. I'm not stopping you. I'll get out of you're life." Kat said, opening the door and getting out of the car.

Alfred's look softened as she walked off. Da** his soft spot for her.
"I still expect you for christmas, since you didn't come last year!" He called, before jogging back home.
