"Thats what i've been trying to figure out. Maybe I'll ask him." Shane said, turning to walk back to the den. "He's a real talented and smart kid Rochelle, I really...wish he'd been mine."

Rochelle sighed and nodded. "I'd wish they'd been yours too..Not a day goes by that i dont think about that."

Shane sighed, and trotted back to the den.

Rochelle followed. Tony was awake when they got there, and after a nod of permission from Rochelle, Tony got up and padded off to town.

Shane yawned, and stretched, peeking into the cave to see if the pups were up yet.

Nickel was the only one awake, rolling around on his back.

Egg · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 5:36 pm

"Hey Nickel, wanna go learn to hunt or somethin'..?" Shane asked quietly.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 5:46 pm

Nickel perked and looked over, wagging his tail as he nodded. He jumped to his feet and padded over.

Shane padded back down to the river and sighed.
"So what do you wanna do?"

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 5:51 pm

"I dunno," the pup replied with a shrug, sitting next to Shane.

Egg · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 5:56 pm

"Oh..Hey Nickel? How come..you talk to me?" Shane asked, trying not to make it sound too forceful or something.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 6:33 pm

Nickel paused then looked down at the water. "..They don't like to hear me...so i don't bother trying to talk to them.."

Egg · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 6:35 pm

"Oh, but im sure your mum would love to hear your voice." Shane said, licking his ears lightly.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 6:38 pm

"But mom's always with my brothers.." he said.

Egg · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 7:11 pm

Shane sighed. "It's fine kiddo, you dont have to say anything to them until you want to." He said.
