They began walking, and when the others were somewhat out of earshot, Kyler whispered to Damien, "So, does this make us boyfriend and girlfriend or something?"

At that time, Kyler blushed beet red and looked away at the ground for a moment. Her eyes lit up as she looked back at him. She leaned in closer and answered quietly, "I... would love to be your girlfriend."

Kyler was taken by surprise when Damien lifted her off the ground, but she smiled and laughed anyway. She kissed him back, winding her arms around his neck and feeling her heart race. She smiled as he kissed her, and then she pulled away slightly and touched his cheek lovingly. "I love you." she said quietly with a grin, staring into his eyes.
