"Are you sure they're... friendly?" Jess asked.
"They haven't sprayed anyone yet if thats what you mean," Rust said. "Unless you count when the mother got Suki a few minutes ago."

"Skunks are actuelly quite friendly, they only spray if you don't give them their space." said Jarret. "Or try to hurt them, most dogs think they're just cats and chase them."

Sara clamped her jaws down on Rust's tail, not enough to cause damage but still pain. "Don't call them disgusting. Skunks are amazing animals, they're able to defend themselves without hurting anyone."
"But you just sprayed the big kitty with your momma didn't you?" asked Luke.
