He growled and ran up to him and pounced on the so called, " Mutt" (as Steele says he is) and bit hard in his neck blood spewing every where from his bite and he got up because Blizz had pulled him off.
Blizzard pulled him off and bit his paw and pounced on him and said, " Now, you ever touch him again, I swear I will kill you!" She snarled and layed beside Max and licked his wounds.

Max growled as he got up and tackled Steele as he bit into his neck and then he grabbed him hard by the throat and surprisingly threw him into the hay stack.

Max breathed hard, he had never been the type to fight, yet there he was, starring at the dog he loved, and the dog he hated, who was just as badly hurt as he was. "I need to get some fresh air..." Said Max, as he ran out the door and jumped onto a roof.
