Bridget was laying on the floor of her room, her Ipod blasting in her ears. Despite that, she was resting peacefully, not sleeping but not awake either. She wasn't listening for anything and didn't hear Cody slam the door shut or knock at the door.

Cody had to remind himself to knock on the door when he reached it. Normally if he was to see Bridget, he'd just come in through the window or meet her some place that her human family wouldn't hear. He had to keep in mind to play the human and not let anything slip to Aerion.

"I just came over to tell you... and Bridget, of course, that Zane's fine," Cody said. Bridget already knew Zane was fine, but Aerion didn't know that. He didn't want her to know that he had come over just to see her either. "He's still on the sickbed thought. He fell down some steps this morning and broke, er, sprained his leg." It would be a better cover story for his fast healing that his leg was just sprained. "Anyways... He's fine."

"Aerion, calm down," Cody said, putting a hand on her arm. "Cassie was with him, but she couldn't stop him falling down the stair. But he'll be healed in no time, so relax."

"I can stay as long as I want," Cody said, stepping through the door. "I won't desturb Bridget. Knowing her, she's still asleep." Cody knew fully well what Bridget was doing. He could hear the music from where he was.

"I dunno," Cody said with a shrug of his shoulders. He sat on the couch which probably wasn't the best way to ast as a guest. But he was too comfortable here to notice.

"Um, thanks," Cody said, taking the remote from her. "But I, uh, don't really watch much telivision." He set the remote on the coffee table, having to reach closely toward Aerion to do it. He settled himself back in the couch, settling into the uncomfortable silence.

"Well, it's only been a day since we've seen each other, so I can't say there's a whole that has changed," Cody said with a crooked smile. "Has anything new been going on with you in the last twenty-four hours?"

"Yeah, you didn't have to be there," Cody said, forgetting that Aerion wouldn't have known that they all lived in the same house.
