"And don't worry, I'll put some stuff in the water that will feel really good on your skin." said Balto. He got a metal tub out and filled it with water and a bunch of herbs, it smelled really good. He picked Nica up and put her in the water, the herbs made it fill soothing. "That better?"

Balto nodded and washed her off. He put the herb on her ear to get rid of the poison ivy. He took her out of the tub and took her over to his blanket. He curled around her and put the blanket on them. "There, nice and warm."

"you are a good uncle, Balto" Jenna said as she jumped back onto the boat. "What happened with Steele?" Jenna asked.
Nica closed her eyes and fell asleep. She was dreaming of Aniu.
Steele walked past the trio, Nikki, Kaltag, and star. He Sat down and scratched his neck.
"I bet Balto did that!" Kaltag muttered. "He's abject, average, despicable, ignoble, i-" Kaltag started.

Star was knocked down, unlike before that one had really hurt and he was whimpering in pain, the hit had reopened one of the scars on his ears from Steele's attack earlier, he was bleeding.
Nickie was suprised but secretly happy. "Balto is your friend now?" he asked. "Can you explain please boss?" he asked. He looked to Kaltag and elbowed him in the rib. "You know Star's ears got tore up awhile ago." he muttered.

Kaltag stared at Steele in shock. "I didn't mean to hit his ear." Kaltag insisted "Come on, get up buddy" Kaltag added softly like Star was his brother or somthing.
'Fine Nikki, Ever since my dad and Ricky where killed, I wanted to apologize to Balto." Steele started. " I can't explain why, but... Anyway, I went up to his boat and started to appologize but he dumped a whole bucket of poison ivy on me. I ran away and he cought u with me with this medicne for the ivy. then we talked and became friends..." Steele said.

Star staggered up, keeping his paw over his ear, which was bleeding pretty bad.
"I guess we can't blaim him for the Poison Ivy, after all, he was just a dog protecting his territory." said Nickie. "Well I guess because he gave you the heads up to help you." he said. He looked to Kaltag. "He's bleeding pretty bad, you'd better take him to his owner."

Nickie nodded. "And Your the boss, me, Kaltag, and Star do what you ask us to." he said. "You want us to beat Balto up, we do, you want us to be his friend, we will. You're the lead dog."

Star nodded with a whimper. His owner came out and picked Star up. He pet Kaltag on the head. "Thanks for bring him Kaltag, come on in and we'll fix him up." the owner said.
Nikkie nodded. "I try my best." he said. He looked at Dixie. "Hey Dixie, how'd your date with Star go?"

Dixie turned away from him. "Fine thank you" She said in a tone that said she didn't want to be bothered.
Jenna had left the Balto's boat and was heading towards them. "Its ok Nikki, Dixie is just a little upset after a few dogs teased her earlier." Jenna told Nikki.
Kaltag follwed the man and jumped through a screen in the door.
