Of Wolfdog And Man wrote: Dragon Tamer: If you had the abitlity to make your Toby series into a movie and had the power to get any actor to play your Toby, Luna, etc. who would you choose. Dragon Tamer: That's hard to say for some of them. I know next to nothing about actors and actresses, so I don't have a whole lot to go on. For Toby, I think I would choose Scott Wolf for puppy Toby (I liked his work as Scamp in Lady and the Tramp 2, and Scamp was in many ways similar to young Toby). For the adult Toby, I'm thinking Tobey Macguire. As he's grown older Toby's learned a lot about responsibility, so it would be interesting to capitalize on the actor association to Spider-man, who had a similar ongoing theme. Also, I think Macguire could pass as an older version of Scamp's voice. For the others, it's a bit harder. Pete, I think, would be voiced by Steve Burns, who voiced Rodney Rathbone (I don't know if he still does) on the radio show Adventures in Odyssey. The two have many similarities, and Steve's voice as Rodney is one I can easily imagine saying most of Pete's lines. Alternatively, I'd pick Johnny Green (Derrick Cryder of McGee and Me), although I doubt his voice is still the same after all this time. And, borrowing again from McGee, I think Chelsea Hertford would have been a good voice for Arrow back when she was playing as Jamie Martin. I don't know who would voice Luna. Maybe Danielle Panabaker when she was younger and Kelly Preston later on. Terry could be voiced by Jodi Benson, I think (she had a very motherly voice as Jenna in Baltos II and III), and Rex... I have absolutely no idea. I can only say it would have to be someone with a fairly deep voice and a slight South-Eastern US accent, but nothing so thick as, say, Trusty in the Lady and the Tramp movies. Concerning the human cast, I think Victor DiMatia would make a good Eugene Calvin, but I can't find the name of the voice actress I'm thinking of for Connie. Maybe Juliette Brewer. I think Charlie woud be very nicely done by Macaulay Culkin, though, if you could get him back when he was doing movies like Home Alone and The Pagemaster. Again, time is far from on my side for this. Of Wolfdog And Man wrote: Toby, Luna, Arrow, Pete, Rex, Terry, others,: Who would you choose to be your voice? Toby: No idea. We don't watch a lot of movies. Luna: I can never remember actor names. Arrow: I want to know why they never mention the dogs in the credits.

To everyone: How do you guys think that Dragon Tamer knows so much about your lives? Is he omniscient or is he a stalker? DT: Sorry man. I couldn't resist.

FreeFall the dragon wrote: Terry: what was your first thought after seeing Pete? I mean, you thought he was dead and then there he is, standing right infront of you. Terry: There's no way to describe it. I was shocked, perhaps even a little frightened. I was so stunned I didn't know what to think. I couldn't think, I couldn't speak, I could hardly even breathe. There is simply no way to express what you feel when someone you thought, or for my purposes knew to be dead, comes back and is standing right in front of you. Especially when that someone is your son. Of Wolfdog And Man wrote: To everyone: How do you guys think that Dragon Tamer knows so much about your lives? Is he omniscient or is he a stalker? DT: Sorry man. I couldn't resist. Luna: He's omniscient, I guess. There's not much we can do about him either way, really. Toby: And he seems nice enough. I guess if you're going to have an all-powerful paparazzi/biographer around, it's better to have a good one.

Pete: Have you tried to make amends to all your ex's. If not to get back togther at least to apologize for your behaviour (no offense).
Rex and Terry: What is the best part of being grandparents.
Toby and Luna: What has been your proudest moment as a parent?
Dragon Tamer: What has been your proudest moment as an author.
(What's with all the proudest moment junk? Oh well.)

FreeFall the dragon wrote: Rex: When Toby came back after finding that criminal guy whose name I can't remember, how proud were you? Rex: How can I describe it? Police work is my chief meaning in life, second only to being a good mate to Terry and father to our children. To see those things working together in perfect harmony is impossible to express. I don't think I or anyone could feel more fulfilled this side of Heaven. Of Wolfdog And Man wrote: Pete: Have you tried to make amends to all your ex's. If not to get back togther at least to apologize for your behaviour (no offense). Pete: It took me some work to convince 'em it wasn't a con just to get back together, and even with Trixie along to back up my story, some of 'em won't take an apology. But yeah, I've been trying. Of Wolfdog And Man wrote: Rex and Terry: What is the best part of being grandparents. Terry: It's like being parents all over again... Toby: Ow! OW! Not the ear! Rex: (laughing) Except this time we're not the chew-toys. Of Wolfdog And Man wrote: Toby and Luna: What has been your proudest moment as a parent? Luna: Now that's a hard one. They're still pretty young, but there have already been so many. For me, I think it was when they were born. All that time I had felt so empty, even embrassed around people and dogs who didn't even know, and then finally it had happened when I didn't think it could. I didn't think it was possible, but there they were. It was like seeing myself and Toby in perfect unison. Toby: I think my proudest moment was hearing Melchior say that he wanted to be just like me one day. Ironic, yes. But more than that there was just the "wow" aspect of it. I was thinking, "after all this time learning from others, now my son wants to learn to be like me. And I can actually teach him how to do it." Luna: Why am I suddenly worried? Of Wolfdog And Man wrote: Dragon Tamer: What has been your proudest moment as an author.
(What's with all the proudest moment junk? Oh well.) Dragon Tamer: For me, the proudest time is when people really get something from reading my stories. They read them and go, "Now I understand," or "It just goes to show," whatever that story was supposed to teach. When that happens, I know that all my work was worth it. It really paid off, it was worth something in the end.

FreeFall the dragon wrote: Arrow: What do you want to be when you grow up? A sled dog? A rescue dog? Or just a normal pet? Arrow: Probably just a normal dog. I think I could do somethign special if I really had to, but I'll probably do a better job of just being me. FreeFall the dragon wrote: Pete: I know you've had so many angry, sad and bitter memories, but I know you've had some happy ones too, what would be your favourite one? Pete: I've got a few good ones, but most of 'em are from before my dad died. And most of the ones since then... well, I used to think they were great, but they ain't so great anymore. FreeFall the dragon wrote: Toby: How's your ear? X3 Toby: (rubbing ear) Intact, for now. Luna, where are the real chew-toys?

Toby: What does your biographer, Dragon Tamer, do in his spare time when he's not writing down every facet of your life?
Rex: When you were growing up what was the stupidest and most reckless thing that you ever did?
Pete: If you were to battle Toby in a wizard's duel who do you think would win?
DT: Not a question, but congratulations on your next Road Rovers bit.

I think he said something about superjeros yesterday. Of Wolfdog And Man wrote: Rex: When you were growing up what was the stupidest and most reckless thing that you ever did? Rex: I remember attacking an armed convict. It was a rookie mistake, almost my last. I had a lot to learn about the dangers of being too eager to please.
