Ok, Teal, I can comfortably say that you drive me mad. But I'm not going to make this any worse than you are since you HAD to open your mouth.

It seems that there is some misunderstanding between you and me, and you obviously don't care what I have to say, but it doesn't mean ONE of us can't try. And it looks like I'm going to have to be the one looking to resolve things.

First to point out, I am not gay. And just because I write about OTHER possibly-homosexual characters does NOT determine whether or not I believe in God. I do believe in God, I can say it loud and proud and even risk my life saying it. I don't care what you think or how you were raised, but no matter HOW a person is, they can believe in God if they want to. And you surely have no right telling me what I don't believe in.

And being an UNDERSTANDING person requires KNOWING that no matter what you think, He gave EVERYBODY a choice in how to think and they will think and do as they please.

Yse, homosexuality is wrong in our religion, but it doesn't mean we have the right to ridicule those who are gay. They're just as human as we are, whether they're right or wrong, and they don't deserve anything worse than you do. I have gay friends and I accept them for who they are because I believe that they can't help but be who they are. And I was raised not to be afriad or mean to them and I can comfortably say that some of the best people I know are gay.

And as long as they don't insult be for being straight or believing in God, as long as they respect me, I respect them. Do onto others.

And about my fanfics, since they're fanfics, meaning fan FICTION, it means that I can write whatever I want about anything I want, no matter how fake it may seem and no one can do anything about it.

But anyway. Think whatever the hell you want. I can't change your mind, because I'm well-aware of the fact that others have the ability to think and do what they want and that I can't change anything about it. Just keep your mouth shut because no one will listen to you anyway.

Oh. And I'm no one's queen. I just have those who respect me. I wouldn't expect those who don't respect others to understand. At least that's my opinion.

cat, you're right, He DID give us the choice to do whatever we wanted but he also commands us to do what he says. There's a difference between commanding and forcing. He does not force us to do anything, but he commands us to do according to his will. And just because it's fiction doesn't mean that makes it right or okay. I know I'm right, because the Bible says I am. and if you believe in God, you know that that's undeniable proof of my correctness. And if strongly disliking you makes me unpopular on this place, then so be it because I will not compromise my convictions just so I can be accepted. and I never said you were gay. I'm not ridiculing gay people, although I do think that even if it's a natural tendency to go for same-sex people, that person should try to overcome it. I don't meet people very often that rub me the wrong way instantly and end up on my bad side immeadiately. But it happened with you. Some subjects I feel very strongly about (as you can plainly see) and I feel the need to speak out against them. And okay, maybe I haven't been as nice as I should have been to you but you PISS me off. And it's not just me that feels that way.

Well, tell you what. Don't tell me I don't believe in God. Don't screw my words around and don't disect MY ways of thinking just because you think/"know" you're right. And you'll be on MY good side and that will be a plus for both of us. This topic can get locked now for all I care. Trouble's already been stirred anyway.

Teal, I understand how you feel, put..I find that preaching people 98% of the time doesn't work. I suggest you leave Cat alone.

Look teal, it really does'nt matter if you don't like the fics plot, you don't have to read it so please just drop it right now.

I'll drop it, but not because you guys are dogging me to. I've said what I needed to say and I don't really want to fight about it anymore but that does NOT by any means mean that I'm accepting it. and in case none of you heard, I DID NOT READ THAT FIC so please stop telling me I'm "pathetic" because I did.

I'm reserving most of my comments, for obvious reasons. And I don't want to step into a hornet's nest here. But this thing really SHOULD be locked now.

I'll only say this:

1. While I can understand Teal's comments (and I salute his bravery and his convictions), I don't know that it served any good by instigating Cat by posting here. She was only going to post back rather acerbically (although, I am constrained to admit, her first reply to Teal was rather controlled and reasonable).

2. The rest of you who lined up to fight Cat's battles (Tik Tac for instance) need to step away from this. I think Cat can fight her own battles (and so, it appears, can Teal). And this is between Cat and Teal...NOT you. Don't make a bad situation worse. And talking about "warnings?" Pff. Please. It's amazing how warnings and ego are bandied about by some people in these forums. I am actually surprised beyond measure that this thing wasn't locked on the last page, with all the posturing that went on.
