IMO there shouldn't have been more pups like Balto: that wouldn't have caused the drama of Aleu's difference between her and the other pups.

I think it was actually rather stupid of them not to have more than one brownish pup, because now they're out of characters to use as they'll all look the same xD. The only reason they decided to make it that way was so Aleu stood out >_<;;, but in my book she stands out because they made her too wolfish and did it badly (I think she's hideous as a pup but that's off the point). Besides, the wolf side looked dominant in Balto, so why weren't there more wolfish pups? Couldn't the red color have varied in shade for the pups?

Okay, they could have least made a brown husky-build pup. That would have been smart. However, Universal is not.
Now I think they won't really be able to make a sequel XD, the only other different options they have is the red Aleu twin and the red-faced pup. I think it'd be nice to have the red Aleu twin come to life and same as the red-face, but Universal would most likely fail.

maybe, maybe not? My opinion is yes, maybe one more would make things seem a bit, more evened out.

I voted for yes, maybe some could of had Balto's and Jenna's colors. Or may be Balto's colors with a wolfish stature (or visa -versa)
But another completely wolfish caracter wold of destroyed the fact that Aleu was different. It would have made the story very different i.e. competition for who was the true leader.
It could make an interesting Fan-Fic.......
