Ya know... I just wanna know something about this future story about Dusty cheating on Kodi and having pups... I just gotta ask ya a couple of questions. Why and who with?

Is this adressing Rotramel or yours truely? If I remember correctly, we're both doing one.
Except mine is more of- Kodi meets a new girl in town, the two become friends, except the girl is really out for blood.

Asking Rotramel, sorry.

Although, better give out a good reason why she is after Kodi's blood... a vampire dog maybe...?

Well, this new girl is definately NOT a vampire dog. She is either:
1) A psychotic murderer who loves killing for fun (sort of like Steele in 'Darkness')
or
2) A heartbroken girl taking her revenge (because her mate left her) on any male who tries to hook up with her. Even though Kodi is just being friendly, he becomes her next target.

I dunno which yet. I'm still quite busy with my other stories, but I'll try to at least get an outline down soon.

Anyway, I would also like to know about Kodi cheating on Dusty.
Why and Who with? Like Ninetalesuk said.

Actually... it's the other way round... Dusty cheating on Kodi.

I'll respond to Ninetalesuk in jsut a second, but I have to say something to Lonewolf first...
GO WITH NUMBER TWO!
That's an interesting idea, in that (if you keep it secret from the readers for a while) you'll introduce them to a character who they'll hate at first, but then, when her true "hurt" is revealed they'll feel sorry for her, and you'll have touched them. Which is why we write, right?

Now, as to the question: Why and with Who?

I've been working on this idea a bit (I'm going to finish The Talkeet Trilogy first) and so, I do have the answers to those questions.
The most important I suppose is why?
Why would Dusty cheat on Kodi?
If you remember, Dusty and Kodi have pups, and they keep Dusty from running with Kodi (at least for now anyway) so he's alsways gone on some trip, leaving her at home by herself.
She gets lonely, and starts feeling (though it doesn't make a whole lot of sense) unappreciated.
It's not that Kodi is unappreciative, he's just busy.
So, Dusty starts to look for help, for friends, and finds what she's looking for in Jeuru.
Jeuru is a sled dog, a wheel dog, on a team that Kodi's races quite often (they are based in Nome as well) Dusty starts to talk to him, and the two of them become great friends. She starts to get back a little of the feeling that she had when she and Kodi were together... and she lets it blind her.
Of course, we all know what happens next... so I don't need to go there, lol. Dusty feels kind of bad about it the next day, but then goes back home to squirming, squealing pups, and back to being alone, and the guilt goes away.
She keeps meeting Jeuru.
At one point (undetermined as to what this is at this point) she decides that it is wrong, and tells him so.
He agrees, but asks for one more time, their last.
She agrees.
That one time was the bad one.
She decides not to tell Kodi, that the stability of their relationship, and the well being of their pups are better off with him not knowing.
Then she starts feeling sick.
This is two days before Kodi returns from one of his trips.
The doctor confirms her worst fears...
Dusty is pregnant.
Jeuru wants absolutly nothing to do with this, and indeed tells her he'll tell Kodi she's lying about him, if she tries to bring it up.
Dusty doesn't know what to do. She can't keep it a secret any longer.
Kodi has been so busy, the two haven't had time to... well, the pups can't be his, so he'll know.
She decides she has to tell him.
When he comes home, he's excited, the team was EARLY! Something that had never happened before.
Dusty tells him that she's pregnant, and Kodi doesn't even think, he thinks it's wonderful.
Then she tells him how it happened.
Kodi is completely utterly DEVASTATED.
He turns his back on Dusty, refusing to let her even stay in the shed with him.
He kicks her out.
He goes and talks to his father (who knows what Dusty is going through) and finds that his father, while not condoning her actions, is understanding toward her.
He decides his dad was the wrong one to talk to (as he was in the same situation as Dusty, and sympathizes with her) and goes to talk to his mother. Surprisingly, she too tells him he should try to get through it with her. Having exausted all of his options, Kodi goes looking for Dusty, and finds her with... Jeuru. (She didn't know where else to go, with no home)
A fight ensues, and both of the dogs get hurt, with Dusty breaking them up, just as Jueru is about to kill Kodi. (This will redeem Dusty's character somewhat)
Kodi and Dusty get into a yelling contest, which ends with Kodi smacking her, and running off.
Now, Dusty is the one that is Devastated.
Kodi leaves the next morning for a trip, and doesn't come back.
I don't know what happens to him, but the team comes back without him.
Dusty goes to find him, and through this "adventure" their love for one another is re-kindled, Dusty has the pups, or pup actually, and Kodi (reluctantly) remains its father.
That's all I've got so far, hope it was what you were looking for.
I think it will be a good one, then it's off to "Balto: Memories".
By the way, anyone have a good title for the "Dusty cheats on Kodi" one?
I am drawing a complete blank.
Any ideas would be appreciated, and if I decide to use it, I'll acknowedge you in the beginning.

And Lone, what sort of title would you give this psycho dog story...? And would she be killed at the end or escaped and vowing to come back one day?

It's going to be:
Balto: When Love Isn't Enough
Basicaly because even though Dusty still loves Kodi... it's not enough, because of what she did.

As I said earlier, I'm finishing The Talkeet Trilogy first, so it'll be a few weeks before I can even get started on that one, but, I have been brain storming.
I also came up with another idea, one that will stem from "When Love Isn't Enough.
Kodi, still greiving over the actions of his mate Dusty, and having to cope with raising a son (or daughter, haven't decided) that's not his, is very down. One of his sledding friends decides to help him.... by getting him into drugs... morphine specifically (which they steal from the hospital) Kodi gets hooked on this drug, and then his friend dies from it.
Time for Kodi to change, so he goes to his dad, and he sends him to Dusty. The two fight the horrible withdrawal symptoms that follow, and together, and Dusty gets a chance to repair her relationship with Kodi.
About the end of the story, "Kodi's" (lol) son is born, and the family vows never to tell the boy (or girl) that he (or she) is an accident, which will set up another story that I have yet to name, about the son (or daughter) finding out, and running away, on a journey to find their real father.
Should be good. I'm going to do Memories before the other two, but that sets up the next month and a half or so of Balto story ideas.
