Thats how I would see it Or mabey they should do a balto 1 1/2 but with star and muk as the "timon and pumba" and balto will find out that balto has a brother
That would be an interesting idea

We could find Balto's origin and get diiferent P.O.Vs from the rest of the cast.

That would be great-to know more about Aniu, Balto's dad etc!

Yes, I'd watch it, just because I'm a Balto fan. If it were in lieu of the sequels, I probably wouldn't touch it again.

I marked "depends", ive seen plenty of amazing fanfics on Balto's childhood and that makes me hope that maybe professional writers could pull off a great movie out of it. Of course that all depends on how much they want to change it as it is a sort of "pre-story". If they based it on Boris finding Balto and then work through Balto's life growing up and include encounters such as when he see's jenna for the first time or coming to terms with the reason why he is so different and his rivalry with Steele, throw in the trio too and that would be perfect for me

She seems to have known him since before Balto 1.

I just want to know who gave him the bone and set out the water bowl. That's a plothole.

Maybe he found the bowl or nicked it?
I dont find it stange that people seem to know about Balto, the Boat is only so far from town and he seems to make regular visits (especially for races) and a part wolf breed in a small town like that is hard to miss, mainly for the other dogs

Yeah, if anything like a wolf was living in a semi-urban area for several years, people would probably notice.
