Timon and Pumbaa ruined the movies.

I think the Walt Disney Company over-rates them, or rather their comical aspect. They'd have so much more potential as characters than the Company does with them.

I also think the duo fits the first movie perfectly well and without them the movie would be depressing. The sequel then... Well, they do have a logic place in it, but don't actually have any necessary purpose. But I guess they wanted to keep them in because they were so important to Simba.

The third movie being all about them was a let-down. I really wish they'd made a serious, real TLK3, instead of a parody from Timon & Pumbaa's pooint of view.

No, Simba would have died in the desert if they didn't save him. And after the sad scene of Mufassa's death we needed a bit of humor. But making a TLK 1 1/2 was a mistake.

Well, maybe not all the humor after Mufasa's death but for sure, Simba needed to be cheered up a bit.

i don't like timon or pumba i hate them . i think lion king 1/2 was pointless it had cool things, but they didn't stay on story line

Are you kidding? Timon and pumbaa are the most funny things I've ever seen! (one of the funniest things I've ever seen) If there is ever a lion king 4 I think they should definitely be in it.

No they didn't ruin the movies, though I kind of agree that TLK 1/2 really shouldn't have been made. But without them, Simba would've died. Timon and Pumbaa were foster parents for Simba, and gave him companionship and friendship, which he really did need at the time of everything.

I like Timon & Pumba in the movies. Although, I do agree that 1 1/2 should have been more a Timon & Pumba:The Movie kind of deal. It would separate it from the other two, but could still be linked to TLK as a promotional tool.

Timon and Pumba is a little annoying for me. But I think TLK 1 1/2 was just for the fun of it.

i don't think they ruined the movies. i love timon and pumbaa ! when i was 5 i got to watch the t.v series , timon and pumbaa ! loved that show ! when i was 6 when i seen the lion king 1/12. loved that movie as well. when i was 5 , i got to watch the lion king. loved that movie too. i alos when i was 11 , i watched simba's pride for the first time. loved that movie too. so , yeah . there good characters. but , i argee. if there where no timon and pumbaa , then simba would of died , there would be no circle of life , no kiara ! :cry:
