Adventure games...well I like few ones only.
Games for strategy ones are good ones:
Combat Mission series:I suggest these games they are good ones
Closen Combat serie: This one is also good but usual Enemy tanks are too good in it xD
Rome Total War and other Total War series: Hard Multiplay have won only few fights xD
Command & Conquer Generals (tested and it seems good but got bored because of need of good PC it lagged lol)
Act of War (One of the realistic games but still not that realistic !!!)
Starcraft
Red Alert 1
Red Alert 2:Honestly I think Red Alert 2 ruin Red Alert 1:s system badly. Well my bro noticed that in RA1 soldiers had Vietnam style of Uniforms and in RA2 there is then those miracle tanks...that kind of ruin everything. The history in both were added and RA2 'continued' Soviet stuff...and in RA1 Soviet union was destroyed...but woke back by one guy...lol
Blitzkrieg: This game bases a lot of funny happenings including some history. I suggest that you start to get more ranks. When you are Oberst (Colonel) you'll get 6 Artillery units and 6 Panzers in command. Of course you don't have to be German in it but I liked being German and conquer a lot in it. The story moves along the history so you can not change history. This game is kind of hard. One thing you do wrong and bang your Artillery left without AA Protection is down. I hate one thing in this game. It is Russian Uber planes thats model I don't know...they are fast and Ground fighters...Bf109 fighters can not match to this plane...that's why I call it Uber Soviet Aircraft xD.
Heroes: This funny game is also cool and slow kind but yet fun
As for FPS games: well for me it is only game no need to get explode by one lol one is good one isnt that is the fact. But avoid Bots in games. They got Auto-Aim and Wallhack xD so they cheat real!
Half-Life: This game got REALLY interesting stuff when you approach surface.
Half-Life 2: Continues the real game. Never actually tried that much only demo that messed my PC totally xD
Oni: This japan game with old Animation grapic is pure fighting. There is one girl in some sort of Tech Crime Task Force so called TCTF forces that fights against terrorism. There is some stuff that is fun including the fighting.
Vietcong: this game here is a bit stressful when you play with hard level. Usual VC can shoot so you better teach yourself in training so that you can shoot perfectly back. Tunnels missions in this game are sooo annoying I can say so better learn to use Flashlight. This game is also really interesting if acts like a soldier in there. Training is good USA kind of typical one.
C&C Renegade: This game has a lot of good stuff but it is "one man's army" at start enemies dies with one or two bullet and in the end they need one clip meaning 100 bullets that they die. In Multiplay it is like "OMG" because of the lag...usual it is hard to find any good server that has minimal lag. After you finish this game you feel a bit that you want to play it more...
Counter-Strike:This lovely game that is one of the most popular Internet games. Well the thing is that you need to just be so called 'Pr0' to handle this game. Then comes the worst part. Cheaters...yes every server has usual cheater and it is annoying. Then good players are also annoying when no kills comes.
Counter-Strike:Source: Same game but better visual stuff and a bit more realistic nothing more or less same problems like in CS 1.6
Condition-Zero: When have no afford for good PC then usual CZ rolls in PC. Nice grapic and soldiers are nice looking as well the guns are cool and easier to shoot in it. Good for practising CS playing.

Pirates!: Well this can not be called FPS or RTS this is Adventure game it is FUNNY game for start but after few weeks it is boring. So this need hard level to fight in it. It is easy to fight and destroy ships and search for tresures...
