I certainly hope we aren't walking into some stalkers trap,that would really be bad if we were doing so.

That's why I was saying that we should have something related to a permission slip e-mailed to everyone who wants to take part in it. Either that, or we'd somehow have to know if anyone would be considered a stalker or not...


Like I said above, we'd need some way to be sure about someone before we even do anything. And what do you think the age should be?

Well I'm 16 and between 16 & 18 seems a good age to me perhaps just a little tight and does'nt leave much room for most people maybe...15 to 18.
Eighteen definately seems old enough though but I would take minimum age down to 15!

Good point nick but actually I was thinking, because there are a lot of young members on the site, that it should be more of a family event where only people from this site would be allowed in and their familys are able to come with them, would it help if I posted the security solutions I came up with?

Ok, I researched past fan-events (TLK) and I came up with these security ideas...

*Only people from a specific site were allowed into the event.

*Tickets had to be purchased and shown at the entrance to the event.

*A full list of people who were coming was created, members and the family members they would be bringing.

*Local police were involved where the event was hosted.

*No fursuits or anything that could hide or obscure your identity was allowed to be worn.(including sunglasses\baseball caps etc.)

*Identity tags were to be worn at all times, no exeptions!

*Your real name had to be recorded upon entrance to event and all accompanying family members.

*A meeting point was set-up so if you were seperated from your family unintentoinally that was the specified place to go.

*All entrance and exit points were guarded, no one was to leave unless with family members.

*Full background checks were performed on all event organizers and security staff.

*A first-aid point was set-up with fully qualified practitioners present at all times.

I hope you approve of these security measures.

Hold one what!?!

I say if any of us do end up becoming an organizer in all of this, we should hold one close to where we live. For me, I probably wouldn't be able to travel very far (maybe I'd be able to go about a state away from where I live) but we also have to consider this: we all have different time ranges. We have to be able to work that out too, if any of us who live farther away plan to meet with us.

I've been thinking about this and I thought we should use E-mails to begin with because we all live so far apart, I live in Devon, England but I am coming to USA in winter of this year, also I think that Myself, Nick and you Kari should be the first organizers and maybe ask Tibb-wolf when she gets back from her trip to Boundary waters, mainly because the 4 of us have come up with the ideas for this so far, what do you think?
