I never knew the Beatles, Ohio Express, Jefferson Starship, The Who, Pink Floyd, Yellowcard, and Switchfoot hated their lives? Theya re quite upbeat lol...cept pinkfloyd he talks about his life.

I do not like rap. Actually i only like on rapper, and he barley sings rap. He's Sean Paul. I like him and only him. The rest of the rappers just don't think about thier lyrics when they rite them. It is also just ppl talking with music in the background and it can get quite desturbing * no offense to rap lovers but thats my oppinion. *

Here's another rap song to add to your list, although I don't know if it's considered rap or not, but "In the End" by Linkin Park is what I like to consider "Semi-rap" because it is mostly a rap song, but the group doesn't only do rap songs.

It takes more skill to play a stringed instrument then it does to electronically remix older songs and put certain phrases on loops.

How do I know this? I was a DJ for a radio station at one point in my life...well...an intern of sorts, I know first hand.

I used to think rap was the best "music" there was when I was younger. But after hearing the same thing over and over and over and over, and how they butcher the English language in 92% of the songs, got tiring.

I listen to rock and country BTW.

I HATE rap, I don't like the lyrics they use because I can't understand a word they say, the words make no sense and I can't stand the annoying swearing in them, No, I don't like rap at all, never will either.

I don't like rap because you can't understand them and it suck andd they all think their so cool with their big baggy pants and crap like that.

Why I don't like rap? Because I can never understand a word the singers are saying, sometimes, it just doesn't make any sense, and...it gives me a headache...XP

I think it's ok if people don't like rap..as long as they have a reason..like 'I don't like it cause it's crap' isnt a reason..what if I said that about rock..I think most of you would be mad..I like some rock songs Ill admit..but the reason why I don't like most of them is probably the same as most of your guys reasons...but not because it's 'crap'

Your right, it's worse then crap, it's so bad that not any bad name can describe how bad it really is, but its ******* attempting poetry, thats what rap stands for.

Oh yeah linkin park doesn't count as rap.

All the rap these days are not rap ehter, like 50 cent and all those walking pieces of crap try to copy the real rap which was back in the day, but that was real rap and it was still crap but atleast it was real rap not a bunch of rap wana be's trying to do rap but kill it while trying.

Also saying it's crap is a good reasson.

ok I'll admit I liked Eminem for a while, a lot and Chris Brown, Will Smith and Usher aren't bad. But Rock is my favorite Some raps ok I guess

Rap isn't music it has no melody and nothing that gets into your soul and brings out emotions I isn't music I don't understand why people like it. It is noise not music it is just noise
