Well we can't force them, but it would be good if they were informed about it. But there are sticky topics about the petition everywhere, so they can't really miss it.

Here in my city the petition finally started working:

Our stores from a week ago, simply were INVADED by lots of balto dvds, even the balto 3 that i never ever saw selling here, hit the stores.

TAnd the curious: all stores are selling it by 20 reais, seem to be an "campaing" from universal to sell balto and other dvds from them.

Honestly, I don't think it's due to the petition. Even if you think there are many visitors on the site, there are not THAT many (500 to 1000 visitors/day, and I would say 100/200 new in that number), so I doubt it would make so much difference.

It's still a good news, maybe Universal decided to officially release Balto 3 in your country? So they put dvds from the other two as well...(I don't remember if you bought the dvd in brazil or not)
How much are 20 reais in dollars or euros?

The balto 3 dvd was "released" here in deceber, i put that release in quotes because oi never saw it here in my city, mine dvd i purchased from the internet (and even in the internet the dvd was very hard to find).

Now even all the online as well the normal stores are receiving baltos dvds and others dvds from universal that where hard to find.

20 reias is about 8,33 dollars or 6,89 euros

Yes but the monthly salary is one in France, and one in Brazil.
It's like comparing Romania with France, where food let's say it's 3 times cheaper than in France but we have a average salary of 250 Euro instead of 2-3k like in France.

All my friends and I have signed the petition, so that added about 6 more names to the list. but we're not even 3/4 of the way to 1000 signatures yet.

  Aaaaarrghh!!! I can't believe it! Now that's REALLY stupid! Some people didn't vote on the right petition! How could you do that? Don't you read the petition texts, see the number of signatures, read what I have written in my first message here?...So you sign a petition without reading what it says?
Now I know I shouldn't have put this link in first...
People who voted on there, please vote again on the RIGHT petition!
