Man, Bambi "2" was horrid. I thought that it was going to be about bambi's twins. Bambi "2" is the worst disney follow up ever, and what makes it worse is that it was little more than disney's pathetic excuse for not making a new cast.

I haven't watched many sequels of animated movies. I don't care too much about them, but I gave some a try. Still I know too few to say which one is best and which one is worst, so I'll put it more gingerly:

Bambi II
Fantasia 2000
Lion King II

Sequels I didn't like:
Balto 2 & 3 (don't kill me )
Little Mermaid II
Rescuers Down Under
Jungle Book II
Lion King III

Loved Animated Sequels

Lady & The Tramp 2: Scamp's Adventure - I LOVE this movie!!! The animation is absoloutely gorgeous, the songs are excellently written and wonderfully performed & the storyline is awesome! Not to mention I LOVE
Scamp, hence ma sig =] X3 ^_^ I love this film loads more then the first aswell! I'm not too fond of Lady & The Tramp

Balto 3: Wings of Change - I LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie!!! Almost as much as the 1st! I love the plot - VERY well thought up, the songs were amazing (except for Stella's...), the characters are wonderful...and the animation is beautiful! It has improved so much since WQ! And I LOVE Kodi sooooooooooo much! He's an awesoem character, with some very memorable quotes ^_^ And I LOVE Balto in this film! He's a great dad, and still as cool and a** - kickin' as he was in the 1st movie!

The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride - Doesn't come close to the magic of the original, but it's still a wonderful film! The animation is beautiful; although it's a bit too rich, the songs were wonderful & the characters were very easy to love! I don't like Simba in this film though. But Kiara & Kovu were awesome chars! And I LOVE Zira!! XD

Hated Animated Sequels

Balto 2: Wolf Quest - Ugh! What have the animators done?!? The animation is crap; the animators could've put SO much more effort into it! And the characters are so dum! Balto & Jenna have been completely ruined, and Alue is SOOOOO annoying!!! >_< I couldn't stand her! The songs were okay-ish I suppose. But that was it. The plotline was boring, and teh whole film was extremely difficult to watch because of the disgusting animation

Pocahontas 2 - Please...don't get me started on how much I hate this film!!! The animation is bulls**t, the songs were unbearable, the storyline was crap the whole way through...I just HATE this film! It completely ruined the magic of the 1st!!! Especially how Pocahontas falls in love with this other guy, and John Smith is all like "Oh your going off with another guy? Okay see ya" >_< I HATE this film!!! HATE HATE HATE HATE it!!!!

I know that Sailor girl already said this but Shrek 2 is probably the best animated sequel ever! It's almost better that the original!!

A sequel that I liked: Bambi 2. Sure, it's not really in any way better than the original, but there were some qualities to it that I was really impressed with (like the animation style).

A sequel I really disliked: Pocahontas 2. I just couldn't bear watching it all the way through, because it was very boring. I stopped watching it in the middle of the movie, and I don't care how it ends. <.<

Ho hum, this is going to be fun.

Good Sequels
- Lion King 2: Simba's Pride
It kept the general theme of the original in mind, which is good, and built on things that the original didn't have. Sure, there could of been less songs, but it was still good.

Average Sequels
- Beauty and the Beast II: Enchanted Christmas
Well, it's so-so. Not much interesting here.

- Balto III: Wings of Change
WoC was a little under average, and the plot was sort of boring as well. The animation isn't superb. Overall, it's alright.

- The Lion King 1/2
TLK3 had a pretty weak subject that was kind of like an offtopic post in a thread. It had okay characters and plotline, but we don't really want to know why Timon became an outcast, I mean, it was pretty obvious he left because he was excluded by the other meerkats. After all, what are outcasts for?

Bad Sequels
- The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea
How predictable. Ariel's daughter doesn't know whether she likes the sea or land better, so she wishes that both are combined. Animation ain't too bad, tho, but yawn factor is 9/10.

-Balto II: Wolf Quest
What the hell did they do to the Balto series? Honestly, this is nothing like Balto. All of this mysticism? What? The returning characters were dumbed down, at LEAST have Dixie visit Jenna's pups, she'd love them, but no. Aleu was terrible, personalities were terrible, songs were terrible.

Those are the few I can think of at the moment, so there might be more later. I know, I have high standards XD.

I disagree. Bambi II is not the best film ever made, but it beats the heck out of most other Disney sequels.

Sequels I like

The Rescuers Down Under (this was better then the first one! The animation was awesome, and I liked the plotline a lot, since it was so unique.)

Lion King 2: Simba's Pride (Good plot and animation.)

Joseph: King of Dreams (The plot was a bit tones down, and the animation was tones down as well, but I loved that they made it all the same.)

Lady and the Tramp 2: Scamps Adventure (a bit predictable, but I was happy it was focusing on the son for once, and the animation was great! I was happy to see Jim Dear and Darling's faces once in a while too. LOL)

Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch has a Glitch (The title is silly sounding, but I think this one is a worthy sequel. Thankfully, there are no other experiments other then Stitch, and the plot was quite interesting with memorable quotes. Plus, they made an attempt to stay true to the first one, and not ruin it like the other L+S sequels and the tv serise. all in all, I think it is the only sequel that Lilo and Stitch ought to have.)

Sequels I hate

Balto 2: Wolf Quest (Do I need to say why I hate this sequel so much? The animation was stank so badly that it was laughable, the plot was so far from the first that I stopped watching the movie part way the first time I saw it, and what was up with the whole Shaminisim thing? All in all, it's pure barf...)

Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea (This is about as bad as WQ, but a tiny, little itty bit better since they made the animation sightly ok. The whole daughter bit is over used, there should be more sons out there, who actually are satisfied with their life for once!)

Cinderella 2: (As stupid as ever)

Tarzan and Jane: (Yawn...)

Brother Bear 2: (I didn't like it. They should have just stayed with the first one, and left it as it was.)

Stitch the Movie + Leroy and Stitch (These two are so lame. I hated the idea that Stitch was only one of 626 different experiments, and the animation was horrid.)
