Phoenix sat quietly by himself. He had been one of the fighters who had followed the Alpha, her daughter, son, and a handful of other fellow fighters and hunters to the Crystal Mountain Pack's hunting grounds. The older wolf was ready for battle, like he always was, but things with haywire between Sadie and her mother and after a few more minutes, the large group of wolves found themselves back at their dens.
Though he wasn't directly involved in the dispute, Phoenix still felt a bit on edge about the whole thing. Finally, the wolf lied down and placed his head on his forepaws, watching the day unfold in front of his eyes.

Ghost was not permitted to go on with the others. She was a caretaker after all; looking after the sick and elderly wasn't what she had predicted in her future, but she wasn't complaining. The white wolf was glad she had this spot in the pack. If it hadn't been for them, she and Phoenix would still be out there on their own, or possibly dead.
The young wolf spotted her friend a few meters ahead of her and she made a quick trot over to him, a warm smile on her face. It quickly faded when her friend responded with a crude snort.

"Hunter, I will NOT fight you." Kamui snapped. "I'm getting sick and tired of all your crap, and I will NOT waste my time fighting you when you're not even worth a fight." Kamui said, glaring at Hunter while standing protectively in front of Subaaru.

Christy stood up from the snow and shook her fur."I must go see what's out there.."Christy thought.Christy walked towards the forest and sniffed around making sure no other wolves were in her territory."I don't want any more wolves in my territory.."Christy said to herself as she entered the forest quietly.

Hunter slashed his claws once more over Kamui. Then after Subaaru. "Back off!" Mountain Air snapped to his brother. "No.. Why should I when I've done NOTHING wrong?" Hunter snapped back. Mountain Air lunged for his disrespectful and lying brother. The two started slashing their claws, nipping and biting each other and snarling.

Back outside, Shasta smiled at Christy. "I'll go with you. If so you ARE pregnant I'll come just in case." Shasta, the noble kind hybrid stated boldly, walking with Christy.

Hunter and Mountain Air fought until Hunter fell to his side. He wasn't dead. He didn't pass out or anything. He'd just lost the fight with his older brother. Hunter lifted his head where his nose nearly touched his brother's disapproval face. Mountain Air's fur was bristled with ager as his younger brother stared him in the face. "What got stuck up your butt today?" he bared his fangs. "I don't know..." Hunter looked around, eyes widened. He blinked a few times to reassure himself he wasn't asleep to his actions. Hunter looked at the claw and bite marks left my his brother, then looked over to Kamui and his brother, also indented with the same bite marks. Along with scratches.


Hunter stood and prompt himself up then shook his fur. Shasta left with Christy on her search. "Nothing." Shasta lowered his head sniffed around. "Christy, the snow's melting." he stated looking around at the snow, then to the sky. It was an excruciating day and expressly warm. Great for hunting. "Christy, there's nothing out here." Shasta glared at her but smiled firmly.

"Subaaru, are you alright?" Kamui asked his brother concernedly, taking not of his bleeding muzzle.

"Yes... I'm fine Kamui." Subaaru smiled softly, ignoring the stinging sensation from the claw marks in his jaw.

Kamui whipped his head back around at hunter, glaring and snarling.

"*******! How DARE you hurt my kid brother! If you have a problem with me then leave Subaaru out of it!" Kamui shouted furiously.

"Shall we go back now,Shasta?"Cheisty asked as she turned around.Christy started walking back to the den with Shasta.Christy walked inside the den to see Subaaru,Kamui,Hunter,and Mountain Air with bites and claw marks."Now what's going on here!"Christy growled.Luna stayed quiet as Christa talked to her.

Kamui let Christa do the talking while he licked Subaaru's bleeding muzzle clean.

As more mayhem worked its way through the pack, Phoenix and Ghost sat and talked. Neither one of them wanted to get involved with the fighting their pack members were up to. Even though she knew she would have to be taking care of both Kamui and Subaaru -and possibly Hunter as well- later on today, Ghost refused to leave her friend's side. She was used to running up after a fight was done and guiding the injured to their den where she made sure they'd heal up quickly, but right now she'd wait until Alpha Christy or someone else would call her over when it was safe. Ghost would never admit it, but she was terrified of the three large wolves; they had a very strong air of power around them that intimidated the shy wolf.

In the midst of their conversation, Phoenix's ears caught a rustling sound off to the left of him. It wasn't close, but it wasn't that far away either. Soon after that, he caught the scent of another male wolf, one not belonging to the Crystal Mountain Pack. His rusty-colored hackles bristled and his head whipped around to where the sound had come from. "I'll be back in a minute," he said gruffly and rose to his feet. Without uttering another word, Phoenix began to creep into the forest.

Loki pawed at yet another abandoned rabbit's hole. The lone wolf growled to himself as he felt his stomach rumble at the thought of having to survive the night without a meal in his belly. Again.
He sighed and returned to a standing position, ears catching the faint noise of the Crystal Mountain Pack's wolves, Hunter, and brothers Kamui and Subaaru, bickering that soon turned to hollering and snarls of battle. A smirk crossed his black lips. He'd give anything to see that fight, well, if he wasn't about to starve. Loki decided that it was time to move in the opposite direction; him going toward the pack's location would be a waste of time since their hunting grounds were almost always overrun with human hunters and trappers during what the humans called "hunting season". Another reason was that, because of his tracking collar, those blasted researchers could land via helicopter anytime they wanted and easily find Loki. The large wolf didn't want to put the pack in any danger. He especially didn't want to put Alpha Christy in danger. She was too pretty to suffer the same fate he did; a metal collar clamped around her neck.
"This is terrible," Loki laughed to himself. "It's defiantly time for me to go. I've been living 'round this pack too long, now I know all their names by heart." Still laughing to himself, Loki turned around and trotted off.

"You guys stay here.Im going hunting.Alone."Christy said.Christy walked out into the forest.She follow a pair of tracks.They looked like rabbit and wolf tracks.Christy started running as she followed the tracks."I need to see what this animal is.."Christy thought.Christy kept running and running until she saw three rabbits."Easy prey..."Christy said to herself as she crouched down low hiding herself from the rabbits.

Kamui decided to drop it with Hunter once and for all, tired of fighting with him when he never wanted to in the first place. Instead, he brought Subaaru along with him to see Ghost.

Phoenix came across an old rabbit's den not too far from the pack's border. The area reeked of the male wolf he smelled from where he was sitting with Ghost. The rusty wolf's lip pulled upward in a slight snarl as he pointed his head down to sniff around the tracks the loner left.
Obviously the other wolf had walked around the den a number of times then lied down and started scratching at the entrance. It left a few minutes earlier; the tracks were still too fresh. "Great, just what we need," Phoenix muttered as he started following the lone wolf's paw prints in the dirt. "Some rogue snooping around the pack."

Ghost swallowed nervously and turned to face Kamui and Subaaru. They seemed in pretty much a bad mood. "Um, this way," Ghost said quietly and hoped the two very large wolves had heard her. 'I am going to have to stop being so scared of them!' she scolded her self as she led the way to Subaaru's den.

By some miracle, Loki stumbled upon a small warren of rabbits. There were just three of them, but there were plenty of burrows where the rodents were. "There has to be more than just three," Loki complained. With a whine, the lone wolf slowly crept toward the clearing where the rabbits were hopping around and feeding. Once he was a good meter away from them, Loki crouched down and continued to move forward on his belly, hoping not to get spotted by his next meal and have them scurry away.

Christy was right in front of the rabbits.Hiding.Christy stood up from her crouching.She scented another wolf's scent."Who's there?"Christy growled.

"Pardon me, Ghost." Subaaru said kindly. "You seem quite timid at the moment. Is it that you are scared of us? I assure you, Ghost, you need not fear neither me nor my brother Kamui. We are friendly, peacekeeping wolves and we are no threat to you." Subaaru then gave Ghost a friendly smile.

Kamui smiled at her friendlily as well.
