Racheal peeked around the shack, she whistled and out ran a huge dog. She knew she wasn't supposed to have a dog, since she had been caught before in a dog fighting ring. Although she had no part in it. She had simply come there to take her dog back, which she sadly never got to do before he was killed. Racheal stroked her pet, that was the only thing that reminded her of Jasper. Besides his room. Jasper and Zeus(Her dog) were supposed to be the best of friends, Racheal had knew it from the moment she brought him home. She was upset though that they would never be able to meet. She took a deep breath, grabbing a cloth; a towel; and a fresh set of clothes. She needed to get bathed so she would be presentable if anyone dare to stop by.

Rikkes nodded, satisfied that she would stay put, he resolved to fly away, out of sight, to shift into a deer and curl up to take a nap, out of sight, but able to hear if she left. He was resolved to buy his time and wasn't willing to leave her just yet. She was fascinating.

Racheal set those clothes down before going in a back room for a few seconds before walking back into the front room with a sketch pad. She told Zeus to sit and stay, that he did. It didn't take her too long to sketch him, and the little red bird(Rikkes) behind him. She tried her best not to scare the beautiful little birdy off, glad that Zeus hadn't gone after it in hopes of it being a toy. She closed the sketch pad and walked over to her clothes, she walked over to the lake she used for washing. She didn't drink from this lake, and she didn't have a wash tub in the house. One by one she began to undress and when she did, she slipped in the lake. Feeling the cold water beginning to numb the healed gashed on her back, making them tingle. Zorro meanwhile grazed lazily, keeping his head low and his ears up.

Rikkes sighed listening to the soft swish of the tall grass and the garble of the water not far away. He was happy to just relax for a while, it'd been a while since he'd been able to do so, without glancing behind.

Racheal sat in the water for a while, cleaning the dirt and dust off of herself before she sat and relaxed. Zeus trotted out and walked to the water's edge, laying down so his front paws were in the water and not the rest of him. She stroked her dog, sighing as he lay his head down. Why was everything so dull around here all of the sudden. Zorro lifted his head and whinnied, looking from Racheal to the forest. She knew something was wrong(Racheal). She quickly dried and pulled her clothes on, her small dagger in her boot. A man walked onto her turf, glaring at her with a sword ready. "Who goes there?" She called out, Zeus growling deeply as he got to his feet. Before the man could answer Racheal jumped in again, "No trespassers! Leave!" She demanded, Zeus barking at the man. He simply stood there, his hood from his cloak covering his eyes and hiding his face with shadows. Tension grew.

Rikkes woke with a start as he voice cut into his light slumber. He shook his head, it couldn't have lasted for long. He got to his feet and hovered in the air, seeing the man, he tensed, ready to shift to defend her when he needed, wondering who this mysterious man was.

The man pulled back his hood to show his face. It was a tall thin man with dirty blonde and light blonde hair, he had beautiful eyes but a hidious scar on his face. The scar ran from down his face with down his chest, abs and leg. Racheal stopped breathing. "What's wrong sweety? You looked as though you've seen a ghost." He said with a sneer, he advanced toward her with his sword ready. When the sword came down it crashed down onto Racheal's forearm, that she used to shield her face. She winced, yelling out in pain as she stumbled backwards, looking for anything she could. Poisonous snake where are you when I need you!? She thought frantically, the man swinging the sword again and again, getting closer and closer. Zeus had latched onto his leg, but victory was short when the man gave him a bad cut across his leg. Racheal kept on her toes, trying to stay out of the way of that sword.

Rikkes dove from high in the air shifting into a human and landing hard on the man, sending them both sprawling on the ground. He jumped to his feet, drawing the sword he had when he shifted comfortably. The thing with shifting was, when he shifted into a human, he always had clothes, but he only kept object when he shifted smoothly. He glanced back at her, hoping she wouldn't do something stupid.

Racheal looked back and then down at the man, she walked over to him, her arm soaked in blood from her elbow down. She stood over him and simply shook her head. She took out her knife and put it do his throat. "Your not worth the blood shed." She said before standing up finally. Walking away she began thinking about it. She turned back around and faced him, drawing her foot back and kicking him in the face. "But you do deserve that." She said with a smile as he curled up into fetal position. She could hear his moans and see the blood coming from his teeth. Oh well. The man rolled on his back, glaring at Racheal as she walked to her injured animal. Picking up Zeus she carried the heavy dog to the house where she tended to his wounds before walking back outside with her sword, she waited for him to leave.

Rikkes stood still and kept his gaze on the man, he glanced at her as she walked back out, raising an eyebrow. He wondered who this was and how she would react after the man left, hoping she wouldn't try and take him back.

The man wheezed a little bit, "Why won't you ever come quietly?" He coughed out dirt. "After everything we used to do together." He said, trying to get up. Racheal glanced at Rikkes but kept her glare on the man. "After you almost got me lynched, twice! You're not welcome here! Or anywhere near me, get gone!" She growled, standing her ground. The man only shook his head as he pulled himself off the ground and left back into the woods. She glanced over at Rikkes, "Thanks I guess." She said before turning her back to him, facing her house.

Rikkes nodded, "Glad to have helped." he mumbled softly, sheathing his sword, and gave her a slight smile, he turned and started to walk away, not wanting to try his luck. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable either, perhaps it was best to move on.

Racheal didn't bother to turn back around, instead she put her hand on the door. "Are you injured?" She asked slowly, unsure about herself. She didn't know how long had he been there. Was he the little red bird? Was he there even when she was in the lake? The thought of it made her face burn red. She blinked the thought away and turned slightly, looking over her shoulder to see if he had any obvious wounds on him. Other than the one she caused earlier with the arrow.

Rikkes turned, pleasantly surprised by the question. "No, accept the one you gave me earlier, but thanks for asking." he gave her another smile, but instead of turning around and keeping walking, he walked towards here. "But, you on the other hand need someone to look after that nasty one on you're arm there." he said.

Racheal nodded, slightly glad that he wasn't injured. She looked over her shoulder too see Rikkes walking toward her. She glanced down at her arm as she moved it outward slightly. She shrugged her shoulder slightly, "Hm." She said, looking over at him. "I guess it could use some attention." She said finally before opening the door and walking inside. She left the door open for Rikkes. The house inside was dull and boring. The chairs were rickity, the door creaked now and then, the room was so lifeless. She walked in and sat down at the kitchen, she lokoed around before pointing to a cabnet. "First aid kit is in there." She said.
