Campbell laughed and said "I didn't even know we would get this far. Um... we could go and bowl? Or skate?"

"Hmmm. Skate." Max said, bowling was too cliche for her liking as a first date. She mentally paused 'Date?' she asked herself. 'Since when did I start referring it to as that?'

Campbell smiled and said "Ice Skating or Roller Skating?" He wanted to do Hockey but would stick to whatever she liked, even if he could show off with his mad skating skills on the ice. But he knew he could handle roller skating. It was almost the same thing as ice skating and hockey... Right?

"Ice skating naturally, hockey boy." Max said and smiled.

Campbell chuckled at her nickname for him and he said quickly "Well, let's go." He started to walk south of the food place they left at and made his way to the public ice rink across town.

Max walked next to him, silent and happy she was with him, it was nice to be with a guy.

Campbell smiled as he came across the rink and he opened the doors to inside, trying to be a gentlemen and polite as possible, trying to please Max the best he could. He really liked her and did not want to screw it up.

Max walked in, she often skated here and was on the local girls hockey team. She had a locker with her skates in it and so she went straight to it, pulling out her skates and smiling.

Campbell borrowed some ice skates and clamped himself towards the boarder of the rink, waiting for Max. He didn't know she came here, which was weird. One thing they had in common, he guessed.

Max laced up her skates and moved of to him, ready to go out onto the ice.

Campbell skated in and started to skate off happily.

Max skated after him, at home on the smooth cold surface, skating with ease.

Campbell slowed down to skate next to her and smiled, grabbing her hand softly and slowly.

Max smiled over at him, happy that she was there with him. This really was nice, she looked at their joined hands. She grinned and gently let go of it. "I'll race you..." she said and grinned, skating off.

Campbell chuckled at her confidence to race an athlete like him, but knew he would let her win, probably not. He said as he skated off after her "Oh your on!" He kept skating and was right behind her "tail".
