Kit yawned again, "Alright." He said, almost drifting into a nap. Just then the old barn cat ran past him, mouse just out of it's reach. The big streak of grey cat spooked Kit a little, making him jump and then grin with embarrasment. How foolish he must look.

Alison came back to watch the cowboy jump as a cat walked by. She smiled but remained silent, knowing teasing him wouldn't be too good. She pretended she hadn't noticed.

Withen minutes Kit had fallen asleep, leaning against a bale of hay with some mangy cat running around in the barn. Aztec's whinnies became almost rythmic as Kit had drifted into a deeper and deeper sleep. Soothing this big guy. Kit lay comfortably on the hay bales.

Alison put her hands in her pockets and smiled, moving on down the barn, leading Kariuto to her stall and putting her away, then going and sitting in the back of the stall, happy to be in the shade.

Kit slept for a long while more until he awoke with Comet hovering over him. Kit jumped to the side, flipping off the bale of hay. "Dang it Comet." Kit said before standing up and dusting himself off. He slowly walked his horse into his stall, sitting down again.

Alison slowly drifted off to the sound of Kariuto munching on her haynet. She was tired and hadn't been getting much sleep lately. She often woke slightly and shifted into more comfortable positions.
