Dev decided it was finally time, and he regretfully dropped her hand. He coughed into his fisted hand and glanced around at the table, overflowing with drinks. "So, what do you want?" he asked, wanted to show of his mad-mixed-drink-skills. He tried to ignore the commotion around him, he turned over his shoulder and noticed a lovers quarrel happening across the room. "Isn't that your friend?" he asked, tilting his head slightly as he asked the question. Suddenly, a short, very intoxicated, girl came up to him and grabbed his hand. "Let's dance," she slurred, spilling her drink all over his shoes as she stared up at him with glassy eyes. Dev frowned, completely unaware of the scene that just went on between Griffin and that strange man.

Sophie turned around at Dev's comment, not even bothering to answer his first question as her attention was drawn to Nessa slapping Griffin across the face. Sophie whinced as her palm made contact with his check, hearing the sting of skin against skin. Turning around to Dev again, Sophie quickly took note of the girl practically hanging on to Dev and was quickly reminded why she barely ever talked to him. He was always surrounded by pretty girls, like this current one, so why would he ever take notice of her? "I better go make sure Ness is alright," she said dejectedly, about to head out of the party with her head down when she noticed a man and woman, both obviously too old to be at a college dorm party and dressed very professionlly for a college campus, making their way over to Sophie and Dev. The woman, dressed in what appeared to be a uniform that was about two sizes too big, stood in front of a man who was obviously just the muscle. While the woman's clothes hung off of her compact frame, the material of the man's suit jacket stretched quite tight around his well-toned arms. "Sophie Bray? Deveron Black?" she addressed them with a confidence in her voice although she had been asking. "We need you to come with us." -~- Nessa rolled her eyes, though no one could see, when Griffin called after her using the nickname she hadn't heard from him in ages. She had a small temptation to at least glance back at him, but she refused to show any weakness. Besides, she wouldn't want to ruin the attention he was getting from that rather busty ginger. When Nessa finally made it out in to the hallway, she paused now that no one in the room could see her. Of course, the hallway still held plenty of people, but it was nowhere near the crowd inside. In the clearer, well, less stuffy air, Nessa took a deep breathe and ran a hand through her hair, thinking about what the heck she had just done.

Griffin watched Vanessa disappear from sight, his eyes growing wide. He'd finally come to terms with what he'd done. He'd crossed the line, and he knew that now. his mind was racing with 'What If's..' and 'I need too's-'. Griffin blinked a few times before trying to dart into the hall after her. He'd forgotten about the big man at his side. "Ness-" he was cough by the collar of the shirt by the man.
"I'm sorry, son. We don't have time." the man stated simply, causing Griffin to whimper.

Dev raised an eyebrow at the girl, finally noticing her. He grabbed the drink from her hand, ignoring her whiney protests, and set it down on the table. "No more drinks," he said simply, and looking up to find Sophie. No! Don't leave! he screamed inside his head, but no words came out of his mouth. "Soph-" he started, but was hushed by the sight of the woman, who needed a wardrobe adjustment, and a huge man. His jaw almost dropped as they addressed Dev by his full name, they seemed to know Sophie too. Dev seized this opportunity to catch up to Sophie. "What's going on?" he asked, leaning down to whisper in her ear, yet keeping his eyes on the two figures in front of them.

"I dunno," Sophie muttered to Dev, her nerves so on edge from these two strange people that she couldn't even blush from Dev being so close to her. Well, maybe a little. No matter what the scary, strange, creepy situation, Sophie always had time to crush on Dev. Redirecting her mind back to the more important subject, she finally asked, "Where are we going?"
"We'll explain everything once we're there. No hurry along." The woman spun on her heels and started weaving her way through the crowd, obviously expecting Sophie and Dev to follow without a clear answer to Sophie's question. Despite the vagueness of the entire thing, Sophie took a few steps forward, willing to follow without hesitation.

Rose:// Heck yeah! I'm all for keeping this RP going! Griffen was roughly escorted out the door by the big african american man. He blinked when he saw two familiar faces, walking along with a woman. "Dev? Sophie?" He asked with releif.

Ooc:// Yay! I miss Griffin and Nessa's.... relationship...thing... haha
Bic:// Sophie glanced up at the sound of her name, hearing Griffin's voice clearly now that they were exciting the heart of the party. "Griffin!" she said in greeting, standing next to him as the strange uniformed people talked to each other in hushed voices. "Do you know whats going on?" she asked. "Are they here for you too?"
As her temper slowly cooled off, Nessa considered entering the party again. She really wasn't too keen on facing Griffin again after what just happened, but she knew she couldn't leave for the night with things so tense between them. She remember the days in high school when they had been close friends; what ever happened to that? Oh, yeah, they entered college and Griffin's ego actually gained attention from girls. Although their bickering was legendary now, she still considered him a friend and didn't want to disappear without some sort of apology. Besides, she had to find out where Sophie had disappeared to. Finally removing herself from leaning against the wall, Nessa entered the throng of people again, keeping an eye out for either Sophie or Griffin. She tried to ignore the rest of the student body despite some grabby hands. When she reached the other side of the room, she finally spotted the two people she was looking for near the exit of the building. She wondered what they were doing together, but tried to reassure herself when she spotted Deveron just a few steps behind Sophie. She began walking towards them, not paying much attention to the uniforms hanging around them.

As he looked around, he felt his heartache, he wanted to apologize to Nessa as well. But he'd lost track of her.

The woman who had escorted Sophie and Dev to the door finally spoke to the man next to Griffin and the other man who had helped her gather Sophie and Dev. "Wait outside with them. We should be leaving soon." She then turned to the college kids and said, "Go with them. I promise that everything will make sense in just a couple of minutes. You just have to trust us."
As the burly man with light hair opened the back door for them, Sophie went first, not taking the chance of disagreeing with any of these people. Still frightened, though, she subconsciously grabbed a hold of Dev's arm with one hand and Griffin's arm with the other.
Nessa pushed her way through the crowd until she finally got a clear view of her friends and was only a few feet away from them. She paused when she saw Sophie leading the boys outside. Pushing away her confusion, she called out, "Sophie! Where are you going?"
Sophie stopped just before exiting the door, turning around to see Nessa slowly walking towards them and the uniforms beside them tensing up. Too afraid to move or say anything, Sophie remained quiet.

Griffin also hear Nessa and turned to look at her with wide blue eyes, but he then smiled broadly and was about to turn and run back to her, but the large african american man pushed Griff on into the van, since Sophie was holding onto him and Dev, it was like a chain and Griffin pulled the others in when he was pushed. The man then stepped up to Nessa. "Hold it." he said, in a deep intimidating voice.

Sophie gasped as she was shoved into the van after Griffin, tumbling into him from the momentum and accidentally yanking Dev practically on top of the both of them as her grip on both their arms only increased. For the first time since spotting the uniformed men and woman, Sophie's uneasiness morphed into pure fear. Just as the door to the van closed, she saw through the tinted window that the woman and the blonde man fell away from the vehicle, as if they had been pushed by an invisible person. Sophie didn't have time to think about this, though, as they both quickly picked themselves up off the ground. The woman sprinted around the van to hop into the driver's seat while the fair-haired brute barreled on to the middle of the bench seat.
Nessa finally focused on the large, African American man standing in her way, creating an impenetrable wall between herself and her friends. She couldn't even see around his broad frame. "Look, I don't know who you are or what you want, but those are my friends. I will call the police if I have to."
"We're with them," the man said curtly, flashing a gold badge so quickly that Nessa couldn't get a good look at the embellished words.
She struggled for a different approach, not yet convinced that her friends weren't just being kidnapped by some very intelligent criminals. But if these people really were police, what did that mean? "Okay, well, I can promise you, whatever you think those three did, they didn't do it. I...uh, I swear, their over twenty-one. No underage drinking here," she rambled, grasping at whatever she could to save her friends in case they were being arrested. If they were, Law and Order and it all wrong. Where were the hand-cuffs? And Miranda rights?
"We're not that kind of police," the dark man muttered quickly before suddenly taking off and practically diving into the passenger side of the car just before the van sped off. Left in the dust, it took a moment for Nessa to realize what had just happened. Thinking quickly, she ran as fast as she could in her high heeled shoes to her car in the parking lot, pulling open the door and tripping into the seat in her hurry.
Ooc:// Should we wait for Hype? I sent her a PM, so hopefully she'll log on soon.

ooc:// sure xD although patience has never been my strong suit ^^'' I hope Hype's still on the forms, so many people aren't anymore.
Griff sat quietly, his head in his hands, he didn't care where they where going, he beleived he was actually experiencing heartbreak. Just because of Nessa? Why was this one argument the one that hurt so bad? Maybe it was because she had looked truely angry, like she honestly hated him.

Sophie straightened herself in the seat, removing herself from on top of Griffin and wiggling out from under Dev. When she was seated properly in the back seat, though still being jostled around because of the car's lack of seat belts and the driver's lack of regard to the speed limit, she avoided looking at Dev with her cheeks burning pink and instead brought her gaze to Griffin. "Are you okay?" she asked, concerned at the devastated state he was in. -~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~- Nessa whipped her car around without bothering to look for other cars or click her seat belt across herself. She didn't know what was going on or who those people were, and she did not trust things she didn't know. Luckily, she had only been at the party long enough to take a few swallows of the punch concoction being served, and she had no problem speeding through the parking lot. She spotted the dark van as it lurched into the street, and she ignored the stop sign as she drove after it, her foot never leaving the gas petal. Unfortunately, the driver of the van had no intention of obeying tragic laws, so Nessa was forced to race her car twenty mph over the limit and cringed every time she flew through a red light. Luckily, though, the roads were pretty deserted at such a late hour. Ooc:// Her last log in was over two weeks ago... I hope she comes back! Maybe we wait a week? Then we could find someone to take on Dev or you could take over him if you can. BTW, I had a story idea that maybe while Griff, Soph, and Dev are having things explained to them and they are sort of practicing their powers, Nessa could sneak in and see Griff turn wolf? Not like they really need another wedge in their relationship, haha, but it could be the way Nessa finds out about her friends' powers.

Ooc:// lol okay xD dis poor rp, it gets put on hold so often xD and that sounds perfect! Lol they have such an odd "relationship" if we can even call it that, since they never give their true feelings about eachother lol.
Griffin looked up at her slowly, his blue eyes sad, distant. "Dog sad" infact. It was obvious he now let the guilt of upsetting Nessa sink into his heart and make it heavy. "I'm fine.." he murrmured softly. "..Just a little worried, tired.. thinking about Vanessa.." he murrmured the last part a little quieter.
