RP Summer Camp 2012

Jared followed the other kids into the main cabin bulding. He sat down in his chair and wondered what was going on, he was a slow kid. Then the counselers started talking and saying that the campers had to introduce themselves. They started with the kid named Jack, He glanced around the semi-circle that the other kis had formed and most of the kids looked grumpy and annoyed.

Jared didn't want to share either, he started paying attention to Jack when the question 'Where are you from?' came up. After that he respectfully listened to Jack after that and when he finished, watched him sit back. He looked around and wondered who would go next. Please not me, please not me. Jared thought, he'd rather go last then second. Like at school, he hated to go first, second, or third.

Because there seems to be a lot of confusion about this round, I am going to try to make it a little easier.

The posting order is just for the answering of the questions. Because WolfCall hasn't been on for a while, we will skip her and it is Wolfox's turn! As soon as Wolfox has posted the answers, then Flutterby can post her answers as soon as she wants to and so on and so on.

As for posting your character's reaction(s), you may post as many times as you want and you may post whenever. The only limitation is that you can only post one time after someone has answered the questions.

I hope that is a little less confusing and gets this rounds done a little quicker!

I will also highlight the person's name when it is there turn on the original post a page back so if someone doesn't come on for a while, they can still know where we are.

OOC: Fun, fun! Questions are fun to answer! x3 and yay for a random generic town name from my state!

"Next up is Willow!" a counselor called. Willow blushed and stood up unwillingly, walking to the front awkwardly. "First question, what's your name?"
"Willow. Willow Hill." she responded, hoping that this wouldn't take long.
"Next, how old are you?"
"14. That's why I'm so short," she added, trying to defend her height against the much taller, older teens.
"Where do you come from?"
"I live about an hour away, in Dustin. It's a small-ish town... I guess." Willow shrugged.
"What is one unique fast about yourself?"
Willow smiled a bit and tucked her hair behind her ears, "I can wiggle my ears!!" she grinned, and slightly moved them back and forth. She had been anticipating this question, she knew she'd enjoy a bit of showing off.
"Finally, why are you here at camp?"
The girl sighed a little bit as she covered her ears again with her hair. Almost over, Willow! she thought before answering, "I was bored. And I somewhat like being outdoors..." she trailed off, "I can sit down now, right?" she tilted her head a bit, already getting ready to go to her seat.

Willow went up before Ashlynn, now fairly irritated, got the chance to respond. The teenager forced herself to take a deep breath, the familiar gesture calming her quickly. If she was going to be stuck here for a while, it would be best to be as nice as possible.

Ashlynn listened to Willow's answers, trying to appear as interested as possible in case someone glanced over at her. In truth, she was just barely paying attention, only picking up the occasional phrase. The rest of it was just background noise, not really worth focusing on. One sentence did stick out a bit though; apparently, Willow could wiggle her ears. Who knew?

Trey shrugged his shoulders at the two girls, who in fact had never answered his question. Once they had put their bags away and left, he followed their lead and left his bag tucked under one of the bunks inside. If it wasn't where it was supposed to be, he could always grab it later, right? It was better than leaving it outside, anyway. A call to get to the "Home House" as quickly as possible gave him a spark of curiosity. So what would this be all about? He found out soon enough when he stepped into the large building. All the teenagers from outside were all gathered around here, and he sat down nearby an extremely tall, tan guy with black hair.

Before he knew it, though, the guy had stood up after his name was called. Trey watched as the counselors asked him various questions. All of them seemed pretty basic, though Trey had a feeling no one in this room was enthusiastic about answering any one of them. As for himself, he could deal with it. He wasn't anti-social, though he wasn't into giving all his information out either. It was part of the habits of a part-time hacker. He watched with interest as Jack said something about mashing the real world with his fantasy world. Strange one, he sounded like. Then one of the girls he had approached earlier went up. She was the shorter one, and Trey couldn't help but smile as she defended the fact she wasn't as tall as the rest of them.

In the back of his mind he wondered how long he would have to stay here. Probably a while, judging from the fact the counselors were getting introductions out of the way already. They wanted the campers to "become friends" and "have fun" or whatever other nonsense. Oh well. If he was going to have to stay for the duration, he wasn't about to become a loner. Sure he had his computers and junk, but that wasn't the only thing about Trey. This girl Willow seemed interesting, and Jack certainly seemed different. Though the girl Willow was with seemed extremely downcast and angry about something. Perhaps it might be best to avoid her for the time being?

Jaimie smiled as she watched the others. They definitely seemed like people she could be friends with. Willow seemed very nice. Maybe I'll talk to her, she thought. We could get along. Jack also seemed like someone she'd get along with. He had a good point. They probably were all influenced by someone else. However, she was still glad she came.
Jaimie glanced around the Home House. She liked it. It was nice and kind of homey. She definitely liked this get-to-know-you game. It was somewhat awkward but she thought it'd be a good idea. Especially since it was conducted the way it was. It was much better than being told to say your name and one thing about yourself. She always had trouble picking a fact. That would be her difficult spot here too.

I know this is out of turn, and that this post has been dead awhile, but i really liked it... and wanted to see if it picked up again?

Lexi had gone to the home house with everyone else, she was used to this. She had done it many times before. She waited her turn, smiling warmly to the people who went before her. She watched the others silently, calculating as she always did. She chewed on plump bottom lip. She was very pretty by any standards, but was still picked on for her personality. She had changed herself from when she was young, to avoid the rude and hurtful comments, the sneers and points of other children. So Lexi sat down next to two other campers, males, because, she had better experiences with them. If they were too busy flirting, they couldn't make fun of her.

Finally Lexi stood up, went to the front of the room and looked out at the other campers. The windows were open and a gust of wind tussled her long blonde curls around her tan shoulders. The counselor began the array of questions.

"What is your name?"
"My name is Alexis Rae Chortie" She said but quickly added, "Call me Lexi."
"How old are you?"
"I'm 18 now." Lexi smiled, her tropical blue eyes still scanning her fellow campers.
"Where are you from?"
"Ridgepoint, not far from here really. Its kind of big." She said as she started to twirl a piece of hair.
"An special fact about yourself?"
"Uh.." Lexi hadn't planed for this question. She turned around and pulled up her shirt, showing the tiger tattoo.
"I'm an artist, i designed this." She giggled a little, this was a very unusual thing to pick to share, but she didn't mind.
"And why are you here?"
Lexi turned around, her heart was racing faster. There was a very good reason she was here, but she didn't plan to let anyone else know the truth.
"I've always came here. My twin brother and I love it here. He got to go to Ireland with his girlfriend though."
Lexi swallowed, she had just chocked out the biggest lie of all.

She smiled and looked down at the floor, her long eye lashes brushing her check. She waited for the next person to be called, and then went back to her seat, faster than when she had gotten up originally. She didn't sit in the same seat this time either, she sat in a chair with empty seats on both sides. She held one arm with the other and watched up at the campers, pretending to be paying attention as her mind raced with other thoughts. Lexi knew that everyone would notice, and she hated that most of all. It would only take so long for questions to form in their heads. And she didn't know if she could hide her secret the entire time of the camp. She once again returned to her habit of chewing that pretty lower lip of her's. She had to shake of this feeling... So to very guy that meet her tropic eyes, she gave a flirty smoldering look of acceptance. Her curly blonde coils of hair blocking one make-up lined eye. Her freckles standing out under the yellow tinted lights in the Home House. She sat strait, shoulders back, making her breasts more pronounced. She was sure the other girls would not take a liking to her, at least not right away. Lexi had always had trouble making friends with them though, and so she had started not to care, focusing her energy on getting the attention from the guys. This would either lead to trouble, or friendship with them.
