Trey was glad that both of them decided to come, and he nodded immediately. "Jace, are you sure you're alright to walk?" he asked in a concerned voice. He was used to her pretending as if she wasn't in any pain, but this was downright ridiculous. She probably just had felt pins and needles in her head from some sort of advanced headache and when Trey had turned around, she looked as if she was two seconds away from falling over her own feet. Louis seemed on alert, which Trey couldn't say was unusual for him, since well... he hadn't known him for so long yet. He didn't truly know what he was like.
"Look, let's just head to my house. My parents are gone - again - and it'll be perfect to just relax, alright?" he suggested. In all honesty, the fact that his parents were never home usually brought something of a downcast mood to the teenager. Although he never let himself feel it too much, because he was too busy hacking systems and having fun to notice his parent's absence, it was a bit sad that his parent's jobs always got in the way of their only son. At the moment, he had overlooked that, though, and was simply grateful they wouldn't be home.

Trey looked surprised at first, as he heard nothing out of the ordinary except the one fizzing light in the nurse's office behind them. "I- what? What are you talking about, Louis?" He asked, and although he tried to continue onward, the dude still had an unnaturally tight grip on his shirt. "Look," he said after about three minutes. "There's no one -" he stopped short when he finally began to hear the footsteps. With a look of mingled shock and sudden fear he said quickly, "How did you know?" His question didn't get a chance to get answered, however, as the principle of their humble school came marching from around the corner, looking positively fuming. "TREY FARGO!" He called in a rage. Trey noticeably flinched. Although he was visibly paranoid at times when he knew he had a chance of being caught, it was seldom so that he actually was...
The principle came at them at top speed, followed closely behind by the nurse and some guy in an orange suit - probably some technology guy- Oh boy. That wasn't good. He couldn't be here about the lights. No one's car drove that fast. It had to be about the- The principle was standing over the three now, looking as mad as ever. Trey would have cowered had he not trained himself to feign innocence whenever the chance came that he was caught. "Uh, sir?" He asked hesitantly. The principle started immediately. "You've been tampering with my computer again, haven't you? Thought it was a fun game to make it go kaput, huh?"
"But I didn't-!" "Save it!" the principle interrupted. "The nurse here has just come to inform me about our lighting problems. It just so happens I had already called a technician to help fix my computer. When asked to explain, she told me that she had been treating you three," he indicated to the trio before him. "And guess what I found lying in my office, Fargo?" Trey didn't make a move, a sound, or a breath as he finished off, "A drop. of. blood. Yours, I presume?" Trey slumped his shoulders, defeated. But he couldn't go to detention now! Not with so much madness going on at the moment. Jace had migraine headaches which he was beginning to think needed a better term, and Louis looked like he was showing signs of being part bat with hearing that good. And every time Trey was getting next to something powered by electricity, it went haywire. What in the world was going on??

Trey had to blink almost three times before he finally managed to get it through his skull that Jace had seriously just taken the blame for him. He felt like rushing to her aid, to tell her to cut it out, to warn the principle she was lying. Surely, her minuscule cut didn't pass for the drop of blood on the floor, did it? Come to think of it, he hadn't truly noticed that cut in the first place, and as a surge of concern flooded his being, he shook his head behind her. "Jace, what are you-" He was cut off by the principle's laugh.
"I surely find that believable," he said in regards to Jace. "There were, however, more blood prints on the door." Trey cursed under his breath. How could he have not double checked the door handle? "Either way, it seems clear you are both responsible." He peered at the two through his triangular spectacles. "After all, I have student witnesses who say they saw Jace mid-way between the door, while the computer went haywire from inside the office." Trey made a face palm, resolving to explain this quickly to Louis, who must have been positively confused out of his mind.
"This is what we were doing earlier," he muttered close to his ear, hoping that his super hearing or whatever the heck had let him sense the principle before was working now too. "I had to go in the prince's office and change a few grades for some seniors, but the computer went crazy midway through. One of the wires exploded," he put his hand up carefully, making sure the principle was not looking at him, "and this is what happened. We've got to get out of here, Louis. I don't want Jace taking the blame for me, you have nothing to do with this, and I don't feel like serving another detention like a good boy. What can we...?" He turned back to the principle, with a worried expression in his eyes. He looked up at the lights, some of which were flickering at his overly panicked state. He came up to Jace and whispered as quietly as possible, "We need a distraction," hoping that Louis would hear as well, as he turned back to their acquaintance and nodded.

Jace nodded, the movement barely noticeable to someone who wasn't paying attention to her. She frowned as she followed Louis's gaze, which was focused on one of the flickering lights above. She allowed him to move her away, a sense of apprehension welling up inside of her. Suddenly, a spray of sparks flew through the air, and the room was plunged into an oppressive darkness, as the room, located on the inside of the school, had no windows.
Jace immediatly reached out, and finding Louis and Trey's arms, she grabbed them tightly. Of course, that was when her headache returned. Letting out a small cry of pain, she slipped to the ground, releasing her grip on her friend's to instead clutch at her head. A few tears trickled down her pale cheeks, making Jace glad it was dark.

The principal, confused as ever, was unaware as to the goings on between the three teenagers. Trey turned towards Louis, nodding to thank him for the warning. What in the world was up with the electricity in this school?? Last week it had been perfectly fine! He had still been getting shocked by static everywhere he went, but that wasn't too important. Whatever the case, though, the lights were flickering even more now, and as Louis pointed out, they needed to watch it.
Just as he remembered this, he looked up only to see several light bulbs coming down in a crash, shattering upon the floor just in front of the technician, which knocked him off his feet. He fell to the ground with a dull thud, knocking him out. Otherwise, he was alright. Trey, on the other hand, grabbed Jace just in time to move her out of the way, nearly catapulting her towards Louis. "Is everyone alright?" he asked quickly, before returning to his mind in an attempt to think of a quick and non dangerous way out of this.

"Yeah," agreed Trey. "No martyrs in this team. You're coming with us, like it or not. And I'd venture to guess the guy who aces ever class wouldn't want to stay after school for detention or worse." He managed a sly grin, though turned his attentions to the authorities at hand. He ran forward suddenly, bringing the technician (who was knocked out) further back and away from the glass. The principal's face was open mouthed with surprise, and Trey lugged the guy a little more before panting a bit and heading to the doors of the school. "We've gotta-"
The principal, over his initial shock, was advancing on them now. Trey's nervousness was becoming overwhelming, and if he hadn't known any better, he would have sworn that the lights dimmed somewhere further down the hall. There was no time to think about it now, and he slammed his body weight against the doors - those of which currently refused to open. "They're locked! We have to find a back way. I'm throwing all caution to the wind. What's next?"
