You know what, JC, you're absolutely right! We can discuss all we want, but NOTHING is going to get done if we keep doing it. The problem is steet. When's the last time we've seen him on BS, April Fool's day? And before that?...Who knows when!

A good Webmaster is supposed to address issues and FIX them, not sit around and do nothing. Wait, I'm sorry, except for Tailspin. I admit it isn't a bad show, but he's gotta branch out a little! Does he even know what's going on in these forums?! Since he's the only one who can fix this stuff, this is gonna be a MAJOR issue.

Look, he was good, really good, until 2010. That's when the sparkles made their way into BS in the first place.

Sure, he made a feature that would allow us to UNSEE them on our characters page, thinking it would make everyone happy. I could see that he was trying to fix this without having people be mad at him, but the fact is, people are GOING to be mad at him, no matter what he does. If he takes away the sparkles, WE would be happy, but there will be crying and whining from all the 10 year old kids (really, who wants to see THAT all day long?), but then it will just go away eventually, right?...Maybe...?

...To be perfectly honest, I believe half of the sparkledogs on AS nowadays are made as a joke or a way to mock those who love them. I've seen it multiple times, and while I am neutral on the entire subject of sparkledogs, these types of characters are indeed pointlessly created.

About actually doing something about it, I'm all for helping out, but I find it hard to accomplish such a feat when we have no way to manage anything. Both steet and Gray have not been heard of in forever, and the mods can't go around deactivating characters like crazy. Natti has already put up a character guide and although it's a great start, I doubt that naive newbies would read that considering half of them don't bother to even read the site rules... So the real question is what would be the next step we could take in order to help this situation?

Grey doesn't participate on the English side anymore, so she's out of picture. The last I saw Steet say anything was on my April fools joke.

But as to what to do, the French members have suggested petitions, and plead to Steet to change these things.

Even with the French members suggesting petitions and pleading, the odds of Steet listening to them, or anyone, is slim to none. The guy flat-out doesn't care. If changing things for the better is possible, we might be on our own. Yeah, count me in, but don't we owe it to the term 'fan', which really means (at least to me) 'fan of this movie therefore characters should be made that tie into the movie universe' to do something and try to put an end to this 'sparkle' plague. It is a plague. What other word is there.
