((Tanber? xDD))

Tanner had dozed off, completely calmed by the squaking of the seagulls and the gentle purr of the engines on the boat.

(Darn iPod keyboard xD)

Katie ran into Amy and Archie, and the girls hopelessly blabbered.

"Oh my god, you won't believe this! Believe what? You go first! Okay I will!" they paused after blabbering all that in union.

"I met a boy!" they both squealed, again in union.

Archie just blinked.

Tanner jolted awake when he felt someone sit down beside him, and he looked over to see the guy he'd seen one of the girls run into.

"Sorry." Scotty apologized noticing he had woke tanner up.

"Oh my gosh, he's so dreamy!" Katie cooed.

"He's got these gorgeous green eyes!" Amy chimed. Neither girl seemed to be listening to the other, they where describing the boys to themselves.

Tanner shrugged, looking out towards the water, before glancing back at Scotty and extending his hand.
"Tanner Smith." He introduced himself.

The Solo Hero · **Posted:** Sat Mar 03, 2012 4:49 pm

"Scott Ruine." he replied shaking his hand firmly.

Tanner smiled faintly and nodded, turning his attention back to the calm ocean.

Scotty looked out at the setting sun. "You're a quiet guy aren't you?" he asked.

Tanner looked at Scotty and shrugged as he turned to look out at the ocean again. He preferred to let other people talk, so he could just listen.

Scotty looked at his pocket watch. "Hmm... They're having a gathering in the ballroom. You want to join me. They have a bar after all." the young lawyer grinned.

Egg · **Posted:** Sat Mar 03, 2012 5:17 pm

"Couldn't hurt I guess." Tanner said with a shrug, standing up and looking down at Scotty.

The Solo Hero · **Posted:** Sat Mar 03, 2012 5:21 pm

Scotty nodded and headed off, with Tanner behind.

At the dance, Katie and Amy sat, dreaming about the boys they ha just barely met. Archie rolled his eyes when they sighed contently.

Tanner followed Scotty to the ballroom before heading to the bar and just getting a glass of beer. He leaned boredly against the wall and sipped his drink, listening to the blur of voices around him.

((You know what's funny? I have a guy named Tanner at my school..but he never stops talking! xD))
