^Well, that depends on the anime. Some are much more..."mature" than your common American cartoons, because correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm partially sure that the media in Japan is a lot less censored than that in America, depending on what exactly you're referring to, but others are in some ways quite similar. Once again, all it is is cartoons that come from Japan---some are made for adult audiences, others for teens, and yet others for children. (And some are enjoyable for any combination of the three. ;D)

But I still don't think they should make Balto an anime. Just...no. :/

As I see it, it would just have to depend on where that stuff would be necessary. The fight between Balto and Steele would be more suited to this kind of content. A anime version would be like a PG version of Balto (I myself cant see a problem with Balto going a rating higher.

Wolf's Rain isn't the only canine anime (nor is the Ginga, series before anyone mentions it). And not all anime is blood and gore. For example. 'Massugu ni Ikou' is a very cute and not at ALL violent anime (perhaps making it so unpopular most don't know or forget it's existance). It makes me wonder what Balto would look like as an anime, and if it was made in a similar style, it has potential to look good. But if they're taking the same characters that Universal made and abused then neglected, forget it. There's nothing left worth salvaging. Perhaps if they made a version of their own that I believe someone else mentioned, then maybe.

I hate American Cartoons! I love anime but I love Balto too! So I think they should combine the two into one!

Ssssoooo you don't actually hate American cartoons. Otherwise you'd hate Balto too. You'd simply have to.

It wouldn't really make any sense to make a show in Japan about an American hero :/

But, and this might sound strange to some people, I could go for a kid's tv show like The Land Before Time got (that freaking franchise got everything... x.x), only hopefully not THAT watered down and kiddy.

Heck I'd be willing to take any new piece to add to the Balto world.
We need SOMETHING, it's like a crime to leave us hanging like this with four of the pups still unknown.

Actually, considering how the first two sequels turned out, I'd say it's probably better that they left the remaining four alone.

Besides, that's what the fandom's for, right? ;) We don't get to have as much fun with the fancharacter versions that we currently have if "official" versions come out.

I'm not targeting you specifically, I promise. You're not the only one I've disagreed with. XD I just wanted to make a point, and it happened to be against your posts twice. -shrug- Nothing against you personally, but for discussion's sake, I replied with my opinion.

I know how you feel, though; I've been in that position before. But as it turns out, the other members didn't mean anything harsh, they were simply arguing their side of the situations, and I happened to be the one that had varying opinions.

So don't worry, you're cool. ;) We just don't agree on everything.

A Japanese version of Balto? For me thatd be interesting. Balto would pretty much be to them what Pokemon is to us: crudely drawn and not normally seen lol.

I agree I'd be willing to go back to the LBT series (although I've only seen like two movies). And I would do the same too, Balto always has room for another adventure.
