The woman gently pet the cub, she softly stroked his body, being as gentle as she could, often chiming "good kitty, there you go". When the woman moved to pet Dinn, the golden cub bristled in rage again and the woman sighed, giving up. She closed the cage and got up to her feet, moving into the kitchen.

Maji looked over at the Golden cub and tilted his head, me mewed at her, really in his mind said, why are you acting like that, he just doesn't have the words yet.

Savan sighed and just sat there watching the horizon, "I just really... still hope it's soon that they come back, hope you would live long enough to see her come back?" asked Savan.

Dinn huffed when the human left. She looked over to the white cub when he mewed. "I'm Dinn." she said with a bit of arrogance to her voice. "What's your name?"

Dali nodded. "I can surely hope." the old mother looked out to the sunset. "I can only hope.." she repeated.

"I'm sure it'll be fine" said Savan, "he promised me, he never breaks a promise." she spoke.

Maji only mewed, He would defiantly say his name, but just can't. Always hasn't yet he is nearly the same age as her. He wondered if there was something wrong with him that wasn't allowing him to speak.

Dali shook her head and moved her gaze to the ground. "We can only hope now.."

Dinn tilted her head when he just mewed. "What's wrong? Dingo got your tongue?" she asked, sitting down and looked at him. "I've never seen a white cheetah before. That's pretty cool."

Maji tilted his head when she said 'dingo got your tong' He felt a little shy, and embarrassed, but also proud that he was a white cheetah and everyone adored him from that.

When the white cub didn't answer, she shrugged. "Well..when you wanna tell me, just go ahead and talk!" she exclaimed. "It doesn't look like i'm going anywhere soon," she commented with a huff.

Maji mewed again trying to show her this is the only way he oculd talk.... If only mommy was here... he thought.

Dinn tilted her head again but shrugged. "Alright.." she said, laying down with her paws curled under her chest. "I think you and me'll be getting to know each other pretty well." she said. "cause we're stuck here it seems."

Maji soon walked over to the door and looked over it carefully, but he couldn't see how to open it so he went back over to the corner and laid down.

ooc: should we skip to when they've grown up?

OOC: I'd say once Maji starts talking, want to get stuff done with that.

ooc: alright, so like a few..weeks?

OOC: Basically

4 weeks later...

Maji was starting to get bigger along with Dinn. But as he was he was finally getting the chance to talk, but, he has yet to know it. He was going to be proud once Dinn hears his true voice after 4 weeks of being here and being completely silent. She probably felt like a human around him because she never heard him.

Dinn still didn't trust the humans, and hated the rings the woman had put around their necks, new collars.
"Gah i hate this place," she huffed, grooming her tail.
