More than you'd date me?! No... that was just a thought. Haruki couldn't bring himself to say something he felt so strongly of out loud. His face was flustered, however, and with a bump he leapt off the mushroom and onto the grass below.
"...I'm going to go explore." he said slowly, turning his head away from his friend as he went deeper into the woods. That Kikwi must be around here somewhere, he thought as he looked at his surroundings. Even if he didn't have a map, perhaps that little creature could tell him the quickest route to take to Deep Woods.

Greend opened his mouth to ask if Haruki wanted him to come with him, but he was already gone. The green furry yawned and lay back on the mushroom, soon finding himself asleep.

"Hahh..." Haruki sighed, kicking at stones, wagging his tail monotonously. Perhaps he was too fast to trek off earlier, but what did he know? Some decisions in life were meant to be taken, and others to be nipped in the bud.

Haruki's ears twitched as he heard a high-pitched queee. Turning his head to the direction, and he saw that same Kikwi wandering about. Perked and waggish once more, he ran after it!

"Hey! Kikwi dude! Hold up!"
"Huh? ...OHNO!" it squeeled at the sight of the running Furry, and quickly scurried into the brush.
"...Where'd he go now?"

Greene looked around and got bored, so he wandered off in the opposite direction. He looked around at the large trees and sighed, jumping slightly when someone emerged from the bushes. He was a furry, just like them, and he was all grey with a white muzzle.
"Hey bro whats up?" Greene asked, and the male with electric green eyes looked over and smiled.
"Nothin' much. Trying to find a bunch of stuff for a creepy dude...Im Pat, by the way." He said, shaking Greene's hand.
"Greene."

(No problem at all. I will be adding another character soon, as well. 'Been meaning to see Pat in action, anyhow.)



The black and white Furry ran, putting each foot in front of the other in hot pursuit of the Kikwi. From having played Skyward Sword, you need to approach the skittish creature multiple times before it trusts you.
"Aww, how do I convince the poor thing that I'm NOT going to eat him?" Haruki thought, leaping over a mushroom and landing on more grass. "...I guess with these fangs 'n' all... I may look a little... dangerous."

"Obviously!" Pat teased walking a ways with Greene. Soon, the furries had exchanged stories of how they got here, and he found out Pat'd been here in hiding for over 3 years!

"HAH!"
"OHNO!"
"C'MERE!"
"QUEEEEEEE!"

Many such attempts were had to subdue the Kikwi, but all to no avail. Now it stood behind a large, red and white spotted mushroom, shivering.

Perhaps it was time to try something new.

Haruki walked over to it slowly, in a way where his paws would make less fraction and thus less noise. Soon, he was behind the creature, and it, unbeknownst to his presence, breathed a sigh of relief.

He poked his clawed finger on its stubby head twice.

"QUEEEE! ...Wh-Why do you keep following me?" it asked, though despite it's quivering, this was the most calm Haruki had found it all day. "Aren't you here to eat me?!"
"No, I'm not!" he replied, a slight smile on his face. "I just want to ask for directions, little guy." he said, kneeling down to its level.
"Oh... ...Well, you seem to be nice. I'm sure that if you wanted to eat me, you would've tried by now..."

"Wow how'd you stay hidden so long?" Greene asked curiously, laying down on the mushroom him and Pat were sitting apon.
"After a while he sends in these beasts, to kill you. I just killed them all, and then hide." He answered honestly.

"...and my name's Machi. Nice to, uh... meet you."
"Oh, it's been a pleasure!" Haruki laughed.
"You can reach Deep Woods by climbing up those vines over there. At the end of it, you should see a big, white structure." Machi confirmed.
"Yeaah, I know that. Pfft. Only played this game at least five times." Haruki teased, trailing off.
"Oh good-- Wait, 'game'?" Machi scratched his head.

Greene nodded slowly and sighed, looking around, before Pat spoke again.
"You here alone?" The grey furry asked, and Greene shook his head.
"Here with my friend Haruki. He ran off after a bird thing."

"Agggh!" Haruki yelled as he tumbled off from a cliff, falling onto what seemed like some sort of... block-like cube. In actuality, it was called a Goddess Cube, and when Link used his Skyward Strike against it, a new area would be unlocked in the skies above.

He would be vain enough to see if the results would remain the same if he tried himself...

He hoisted his sword up in the air, and waited patiently for the sparks from the sky to drip down his blade. ...Seconds passed. Then minutes...

"Aww. Nuttin' happened!" Haruki cursed, storming off in the direction of Skyview Temple. It was still a way's away...

"A kikwi? Oh man. Good luck catchin' it." Pat said with a laugh, wiping off his hands on his pants. "I couldn't get one, just ended up killing it.."
"Oh dude..that suuucks for you!" Greene said with a laugh.

"Hmm... Wonder when Greene'll catch up to me?" Haruki thought out loud as he walked down a white road, woven into a dirt path. "...Aw, why do I even care? That lazy a** is probably still sitting on a da** mushroom!" he shouted in rage, but burst into laughter shortly after.

Ahh, Greene, he thought, blushing at the prospect.

The two laughed and talked for a while longer, before looking at the darkening sky.
"Should we go find him?" Pat offered, hopping off the mushroom and offering a hand to Greene. After a moments hesitation, Greene took it and they walked off. Not too long after, Greene and Pat found Haruki.
"Bro what're you doing down there?"

Haruki's ears twitched as he heard a familar voice. He turned, and a smile washed across his face as he saw that handsome, fun-loving green Furry once more. With him, an unfamilar face, as well. How'd he get here, too?

"Greene, you!--" Haruki stopped, and suddenly his expression turned to a frown. "--should never have found me!!" he boomed, running off into the temple entrance. He even strayed past several Bokoblins, barely dodging the attacks they threw at him.

Within seconds, he was lost inside the darkness of the place... and was in imminent danger.
