Firefly:
I howled and looked at Dragonfly when he joined in. I smiled and kept howling, I looked at the land across from the lake and there stood a huddle of pups. I could see what they were running from, a rouge male. I dove into the water and Dragonfly followed me. When I reached the other side I snarled at the rouge. First time I had to ever do that. Dragonfly chased him off and I grabbed the pups. Swimming back.

Klaw got up and trotted smugly away.

Mia trotted to the water's edge.

Firefly:
Hm. What to name you girls and boys... Um, Lily, Skylar, Rose, and Prince. I smiled. They had pure white fur just like me. So it will be easy to make them believe I'm their mother.

Klaw trotted to the summit of the hill and looked over the territory.

Mia sighed.

Firefly:
I noticed the pups were dozing off so I took them to my den and let them sleep. I went out hunting a few minutes later with Dragonfly. Catching quail was easy but you had to be quick.

Klaw's fur blew in the breeze, his amber eyes scanned for any signs of disturbance. His gaze landed in the distance. He barked for Mia.

Mia ran to his side. "What is it?" she asked.

Firefly:
I heard the barking and draged my quail back to my pups. When they awoke they ripped into the soft meat and ate everything but the bones. I smiled and cleaned them.

"Elk herd." he said. Mia nodded and together they took off towards the shore.
