Little Ladybug cleared her throat. "The Fire of Friendship lives in our hearts
As long as it burns, we cannot drift apart." she sung in a high, but sweet tone. She had a faily good singing voice.

Sherlock smiled. He loved this song, most ponies did, considering it was one of the oldest and most well known ones in all of Equestria. "Though quarrels arise, there numbers are few.
Laughter and singing will see us through!" he sung alongside the little filly.

"We are a circle of pony friends
A circle of friends we'll be till the very end."

Sorry for late reply. I lost a post I worked on once then got writer's block after that. >.<


Swamps nodded, his fluffy mane falling and lifting over his eyes. "Just like that one time I needed to get a patient out of a tree when it refused shots. I knew I could go right to my friend Frost to help me get him down. Not being able to fly, it would've been quite the chore fetching him out of that pine. Right?"

He smiled at his friend, but Frost only waved it off as, "Well didn't want you to break your back falling out of the tree if you were to try."


Remembering what Sherlock said, Swamps added quick, "And of course we're friends."

Frost snorted. His warm breath visible in the cold air as he said back, "Swamps. You don't NOT like anyone." He smiled though. It was a quality in his friend that he admired.

Swamps just laughed, "Yea, I guess that's true. Nopony has ever been able to give me reason enough to not dislike them. Even if they were to wrong me, forgive and forget I always say. Besides! How could we not think of them as anyone else other than friends after such a lovely gift exchange?"

Frost nodded, "So true."

Swamps had a thought at that moment. About everypony and everything he knew as a friend. It made him miss another of his dearest friends back home... "I wonder how Bucket is doing...?" He looked thoughtful and sad at the thought of not seeing him in so long.

OOC: We should have something happen on the road. ...unless you can think of something for them to talk about? Didn't really think that bit through. ^^;

OOC: Sure, should we skip ahead a bit?

Ladybug saw her friend looking upset and cuddled up to him, giving him a happy look. "Are you ok, Mr. Swamp?" she asked, looking up at him with her big filly eyes. She didn't like seeing a friend upset anymore than her big sister did. It ran in the family just like timidness. Though of course, Fluttershy was probably kinder still, seeing as she was literally kindness personified. But still, that wouldn't stop little Ladybug from helping a friend in need.

Swamps couldn't help but smile at such a kind heart and concerned face. "Yea. I miss Bucket. He's my pet oppossum. And best friend." After a quick glance from Frost that he caught out of the corner of his eye, he added, "That's not a pony." He smiled. "Your sister's taking care of him for me, so I'm not concerned about him at all. It's been a long trip. Many pets to see and take care of in Manehatten while a fellow veterinarian friend had taken ill. Right before the holidays too... I was lucky Frost was planning to sell his figures there so I could tag along. ...but I'm going off tangent. It'll just be nice to get home and relax again." He added a lighter note to his gait that almost seemed like a skip to show how content he was talking to the little filly. "I can't wait to introduce you to Bucket. He's a bit shy and on the slow side, but he's tons of fun."

OOC: Sounds good to me!

OOC: Ok, to when?

OOC: Hmm... what about if they're having any obstacles to face? Like a villain or something on the road? I forget what we decided for that...

OOC: I've got an idea.

They kept walking along the path, but eventually came across a large group of ponies blocking the way, all looking ahead. "What's going on here?" he asked, trying to look over the heads of the ponies in front of him, managing to see what looked like an avalanch or rockslide up ahead. "Frost, can you fly up to get a better look? I think something happened to block the path up ahead, but I can't see from here."

Ladybug jumpped up and down, trying to see what was going on, but even using her tiny wings didn't get her the height required to see anything.

OOC: Oh laws. I dunno what he'll see! xD

Swamps dug his head under Ladybug when she managed to get a bit off the ground with her little wings. Standing straight once more, the little filly was now higher above everypony else. "How's that?" He asked.

Already hovering, Frost replied, "Sure thing!" And went higher. His hooves could brush the ears of some ponies, as he stared at a rock wall in front of his face. He called down, "T'would appear to be a rock-slide. ...possibly avalanche. I was never good with geography. I could go higher..." Frost shook his mane against the cold snowy air. This was going to be fun to clear away. Unless they could find an alternate route.

Ladybug looked like she was going to breakdown crying.

"Now calm down, Ladybug, there's nothing to worry about," said the unicorn. "I'm certain these ponies are already planning to clear the avalanche as we speak, if we work together, we'll have it cleared in no time."

As he said that, a police pony stood before the crowd. "Attention everypony. The path is blocked, there's been a rockslide. A crew is coming to help clear it, but any ponies who are willing and able to help are welcome to do so as long as they are careful!" he announced with a megaphone. "So there is no reason to panic!"

"See, I told you," said Sherlock, watching that settle the little filly down a good bit. "Now, shall we go help clear the path? After all, if ponies work together, there's nothing they can't accomplish."
