OOC: Shnice. 8D

Rafa nodded. "Well I guess you could call it that," she chuckled. "If only I could really get in trouble... my parents deserve it too." She began her sentence quietly, but began muttering by the last part. Realizing with a start that she probably looked weird to the other kid, she turned back to him with a normal expression and managed another smile - these were getting easier by the minute, she noticed. She mentally face palmed herself when she tried to think of what to call him, and half of her opinion became voiced aloud. "I'm so sorry... I'm not sure what your name is. I've seen you around before... but..." she trailed off, hoping he understood.

In the back of her mind, some memories were surfacing. Rafa had only been here a while herself, but she could recall the few times she'd seen this guy before. She felt sorry for him, seeing flashes in her mind of the various Spanish foods people loved to throw at him, even shoved down his throat. She also remembered that he had something to do with sports - she loved sports, so that was a good topic. Maybe she'd skip to something like that to converse easier. Anytime she was involved in something she knew, Rafa didn't feel quite so awkward anymore. Perhaps it was just second nature.

Jose mentally smiled when she didn’t know his name, she didn’t know his name, and therefore she probably didn’t know his nickname. He looked over her once more, he did know her from a few of his classes, her name was…Radar? Ripley…He couldn’t pull it from his thoughts.
“Jose” He answered with a smile to match. His eyes traveled back to her face, trying to decide whether or not he knew her name. Jose was never good with matching names with faces, she was familiar but not to a point where he knew her.
“I never caught your name, either…” He said.

Mr. Garrett looked over at Francis, who had chuckled and rolled his eyes.
"Francis that's quite enough from you today. Go to the office." The teacher growled, making said french-student huff. He stood and began walking out of the room. He noticed the office door was closed, and saw two other students outside, so he decided to join them, in their 'leaning against the wall'.
"Bonjour."

Joel: Mr.Garret, can I get a drink? Mr.Garret approaved and Joel got up and got a drink out of the water fountain. He hung outside and just chilled for a little while. He came back 2 minutes later and sat down. He thought about yelling at the girl behind him and he truned around to her. Sorry. He grinned. She giggled and Joel turned around.

Rafa smirked when he finally said his name. She replied to his similar question, "Rafa..." she paused for a minute, letting his name sink in. "So, Jose... you play soccer, right?" Her excitement was getting obvious by now. She wanted desperately to find someone who had something in common with her. She couldn't quite place it, but the other Jocks didn't get it. Sure, they could talk about basketball or baseball or football all day, but they were usually full of themselves. She wasn't like that, as hard as she tried.

Jose seemed different; maybe he was like her. He seemed quiet enough compared to them, and they were usually too stupid to be sly in class, so his being at the principal's described some kind of higher intelligence. She just couldn't force down the smile. Realizing it wouldn't go away for a while, Rafa turned a bit to hide the blush, but you could probably still see it a mile away. She was about to turn when she saw yet another student walking out of class. How long had it been since the last class? Half an hour maybe? Whatever, it didn't matter.

This one had an accent too. Geez, was she getting the international tour today. She had just been getting comfortable talking to Jose when all of a sudden the french exchange student came strolling in, ruining the fun. Maybe she could talk to him too. He didn't seem too bad. "Hey," she replied simply. From what she knew, Francis was used to getting all the girls. Whenever she heard his voice in the halls there were always female ones to follow. And from the talk of the popular crowd, Rafa was smart enough to figure it out on her own anyways.

She wasn't like that though. Often, she was so consumed with her situation at home and finding ways to get back at her parents that she forgot about social situations altogether. This was why she felt so uncomfortable with Jose at first. Now she could easily talk to him, but Francis presented a new challenge. Yet another person she had to get used to.

Francis smirked, flipping his blonde hair out of his eyes.
"Seems we are all out of class, no?" He shrugged, flipping out a magazing and begining to read it.

Rafa nodded, hugging her elbows as if protecting herself from some invisible force. "Looks like," she replied coolly. "So..." she looked over at Jose, smiling in spite of herself, and continued. "He's here cause the teacher's racist, I'm here because I'm a sad individual with nothing better to do, and I'm guessing you're here," she looked at him and pointed to his magazine, "because you refused to stop reading during class?" She managed to let herself chuckle. Of course it was a forced one at first, but Rafa had to keep reminding herself not to be so anti-social. She'd get better; it was only a matter of getting to know someone.

Jose looked at the French guy, so he likes speaking his own language? Jose had just noticed the deep blush on Rafa’s face when the French-man had walked up. He secretly scowled at the French guy; Jose might’ve had a chance with Rafa if he hadn’t just appeared. Well two could play at the language game.
“Hola amigo” He said, the second language flowing flawlessly off of his tongue. He eyed the French man, if he wanted to go to this school, did he know that speaking English would be handy? Most likely the French guy was just flaunting his native tongue to get the girls. Jose used to try that; it ended up not going as well as he planned. Whenever he spoke Spanish to anyone at this school they ended up treating him like a total retard. He guessed it was different with French guys. Just to be sure, Jose flipped a glance at Rafa, only to notice the unimpressed face she was making. He then heard the Frenchman say something else, his accent flowing easily, with no hint if he were making an effort to hide it or not.
“Si…” Jose agreed, still refusing to speak English in front of the guy.

"Ah, No, ze teacher just hates me." Francis huffed flawlessly, somewhat of a bored tone in his voice. He glanced at Jose, who seemed to almost be glaring at him. So he wanted to play the language game huh?
"Puedo ver la forma en que me mira, Jose. ¿Honestamente no estás pensando que ostentan esto hago? no, se trata naturalmente para mí. ¿Puedo hablar su idioma demasiado, ves?" Francis answered with a smirk.

Joel & Johny & Jake & Kyle:
When the bell rings they are the first students to rush out on skate boards. Lunch Time! They did a couple kick flips down the hallway and grinded the bar next to the staircase. They were happy to get out of class. All the sudden a german shepherd ran up and jumped on Joel. Licking his face.

Joel: Snipper! He said petting his dog with a grin. What are you doing here boy? Huh? He smiled and petted him on the head.

Jose’s face went slack. He looked at the Frenchman with a mixture of pure hate, and pure terror. What was THAT? Had he just…spoken Spanish? No. But the words were Spanish, and Jose had understood every bit of it. His face then rearranged itself into a scowl and he huffed and crossed his arms. The Frenchman was taller then him, and a bit slimmer, but Jose wasn’t fat. He was all muscle, not short, but not tall. Jose had a stocky build, with broad shoulders and a slack gait, but he was lean also. This French dude was tall, and lean, like a cat. Jose gave Frenchy a once over and huffed again.

What was with this guy?! He spoke 3 different languages?! That just wasn’t fair. Did Jose know any French? No. Maybe if he’d taken the class. It hit him then.
“Oh, haha very funny, just because your elective is Spanish doesn’t mean anything.” Jose said, immediately disliking this guy. Jose felt the need to retort in French, but he didn’t know French, at all. He couldn’t even pronounce ‘Bonjour’ correctly.

Rage bubbled inside of him, but his expression wasn’t as intense. He kept his face in a mild scowl, but relatively calm and collected. This guy was obviously trying to mess with him, and for what? to talk one on one with Rafa? This bothered Jose somewhat, he didn’t want Frenchy anywhere near Rafa.

Kyle & Johny:
Boys, w-we have a confession to make. We are moving this weekend. We only have today to send with you guys.

Joel:
Well what are we doing at school!? Lets go! He hopped on his skate board and did a couple kickflips. Jake followed, Kyle and Johny followed soon after. They ditched school and had no second thoughts about it.

Francis rolled his eyes.
"Relax, mon ami, i am just playing vith you." He huffed gripping his magazine tighter as a teacher walked by. He was about to make another comment when the bell rang out.
"It was a pleasure meeting you, Arevoir mes amis." Francis called before leaning in closer to Jose and pushing something into his pocket. "You may need zis if you're going to be interested in Rafa, mon ami." He muttered, striding off for lunch.

Ashley:
She drove up to school in her cobalt SS. She parked and got out, smiling slightly. She took a deep breath, her friend would be arriving soon. She looked at the school and grinned a little bit. Nothing to fancy. She looked over and notice Joel doing kickflips. She grinned more and watched. Miranda soon drove up and got out, she looked at the school along with Ashley and they went inside. They needed to get a schedule. They actually started tomorrow.

Rafa was taken back a little bit by the entire situation. Although she found it interesting at first, Rafa was not dumb; she knew the difference between playing around a potential fight. She didn't say anything, though. She didn't want to get in the middle of all that male bravado, no matter how athletic she was. The bell rang, but Rafa didn't flinch or even make so much as a move. She heard the whole thing, but as she watched Francis leave, she let a breath out that she hadn't realized she'd been holding. "Well, that was interesting to say the least."

Her eyes wandered to the profane magazine and she raised an eyebrow. "You might want to get rid of that thing before the teachers see it." She gave a laugh. Her eyes took in his scowl, his clearly angered expression, and she knew somehow that it was because of Francis - well no duh, it had to have been. What he did was the question. She narrowed her eyes to think and eventually she got it. It was the Spanish. Here Jose was getting beat up for being himself and then there's Francis, the French guy who speaks so fluently in three different tongues and yet has the opposite effect on those around him. It wasn't hard after that to see why Jose would be upset.

She walked up to him cautiously, doing something usually out of her nature; she surprised even herself. She patted him on the shoulder. "Don't let him get to you," she said quietly. It was loud enough for him to hear but not for anyone else around them - people were packing in the halls, and Rafa didn't really feel like being apart of that mob just yet. "Don't give them the satisfaction. You're cooler than that." She gave a genuine smile, looking directly at him with her confusing caramel eyes - the ones that almost always held some kind of strong emotion. As she turned to leave, she picked up her backpack. Just before she entered the crowd, she said. "Hey, wanna play soccer sometime? I've been itching for a worthy opponent." She gave a smirk in his direction and turned on her heel, not quite walking yet, but obviously waiting for his answer so she could get out from school. Though she wasn't ready to go home yet...
