Anabelle is Balto's great-granddaughter, so unless hes a lot older than her, he may not be able to participate. He would have to be at least 4 years older, but that is possible, if I don't count the image of them as pups as official fanart of them. Hmmm... Hm. Then perhaps you could design another male character? A shame...I really kinda like Oliver. lol Yeah, maybe a relative of his, possibly, like a father or grandfather or something. But I do make most of my chars based around that time (1925) anyway

Here's two chaps I've made just for the occasion. http://i962.photobucket.com/albums/ae10 ... kies-7.pngName: Dante Breed: Siberian Husky Coat: Sable Eyes: Parti (brown and blue combined) Age: 10 Personality: Energetic, independent, impatient, and enjoys traveling. Name: Sammy Breed: Siberian Husky Coat: Agouti Eyes: Brown Age: 8 Personality: Patient, kind, stubborn, and conservative. Name: Fox Breed: Siberian Husky Coat: Mostly-black Eyes: Orange Age: N/A Personality: Independent, practical, and observant Dante and Sammy weren't born of the same litter, but mid-career they've been bought and sold together a few times. They make a good duo, even if it doesn't seem like they like each other very much. Despite how they look, Dante is actually older than Sammy and still finds value in play, whereas Sammy doesn't think he takes life as seriously as he should.

How about Ida or Pearl? Oh either would work I think. Very good choices!

InsanitiaWolf21 wrote: By the way, do you need help designing Fox or Scotty? Well, you'd be one of at least three people so far who said they wanted to design either one or both of those dogs. lol Not all of them current, by the by. One of them was Koak, but it seems to me that he's not serious about it. Also Lady Jenna and CatWhoHas14Tails I think. So if you wanted to discuss it with those two...I really am not particular about who does them. I think Lady Jenna intended to make them into fan characters (well, I would like them to be fleshed out fan characters with head and full body shots). It's up to you guys.

Updated with a Fox design! http://i962.photobucket.com/albums/ae10 ... kies-7.pngName: Dante Breed: Siberian Husky Coat: Sable Eyes: Parti (brown and blue combined) Age: 7 Personality: Energetic, independent, impatient, and enjoys traveling. Name: Sammy Breed: Siberian Husky Coat: Agouti Eyes: Brown Age: 6 Personality: Patient, kind, stubborn, and conservative. They've worked many positions on a few different teams, as wheel dogs, team dogs, and swing dogs, but only Dante has ever leaded before. So any position would work for them, but they're inspired by these two dogs on the left. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a389/ ... ladogs.jpgFox found a real knack for leading teams of dogs. He wasn't the biggest husky, but is a very logical thinker, and a very good leader. His only flaw was that he often took matters into his own hands, as opposed to making team decisions, which was his belief to what a leader should be. He was intended to lead the team on the Serum Run, but his leading position was taken away by the inexperienced Balto. He was not too happy about the idea at all. He had a bit of a Steele-ish reaction to Balto taking lead, only not as extreme. He later came to respect Balto.

Togo and Balto's teams getting all this wonderful attention! I must strive to live up to all of this! (" AAAH! That is WAY too much pressure!" ) The work shall continue unabated behind the scenes, until I can release it! Thanks everyone! Thanks Cat!

By the by...while Scotty is close in age to both Togo and Fritz (having, I believe, been born around the same time), I should point out generally that other team members need not all be in the middle to older-aged range in order to keep up with the big mahoffs. Just sayin' Info on Scotty (note, exact dates of birth and death are not shown here and may not be known...at least, I haven't found anything YET. I will keep looking though): http://pawvillage.com/pedigree/dynprofile.asp?ID=AWSH735 You can see that he, Togo and Fritz all share a mother, but each has different fathers. Heh. Dolly certainly did her share.

I'll flesh him out more and probably redo his ref sheet later, but I just wanted to get down the basics. I was thinking about making him a good blend of Fritz and Togo- playful- yet loves doing his job. Most of all he loves attention- I mean look how he poses in that picture. It's almost like he totally knows what's going on and wants to look his best for the camera. He was apparently another one of Seppala's favorites, so I wanted Scotty to love receiving his affection. He's not an attention-nut to the point of Steele's insanity, but he is the type of dog who really likes receiving attention, but he knows he has to work hard to earn it. He likes to strut his stuff, but he's got some actual stuff to strut, if that makes sense. Of course, I don't want him to steal the show from Fritz or Togo- so Scotty might be a little more laid back in his competitive edge.

I think you've pretty much nailed down the relationship he had with Seppala, and probably a viable personality! And the art looks great so far! Thanks, Esky-doodle!
