Maddie: She saw an old willow tree. She smiled and leapt through the branches. She was almost hidden by the hanging leaves. She smiled as small white butterflies flew gently around inside the tree. She lied down on one of the warm branches and smiled.

Maddie: She heard clawing at the base of the tree. She looked down and slowly made her way down the branches. She stopped, her back legs on the branch above and parrallel to the one her front paws were on. She looked at this sick looking wolf. She leapt down infront of the wolf to have her give her, the younger wolf she had.

Sick Wolf: Take her. She is the only one that doesn't have the sickness. She didn't touch her, she limped off. Maddie decided to name the 6 month old puppy April.

Ava watched the new pack members in despair. Why did my brother have to be so nice.. she thought, she growled to herself, and shook her head.

Maddie & April: They sit down and bonded. April was very fasinating to talk to and Maddie had a lot to teach her. But first thing's first... Find this kid something to eat! Maddie stalked a deer. She chaced it for about 2 minutes before killing it. April rushed in and starting eating.

Stormy: He picked through his father's neck and chest fur. He found his neckalace and snatched it off. Want it back? Come get it! He slid it over his neck and shot off like a bullet.

Skylar: Hey! He chased after Stormy. They ran past Ava, not caring she was standing there with gloom written all over her face.

Ava shook her head and dissapeared into the trees, soon she would have to leave the pack to track the herds and help the pack find food, she dreaded, yet looked forward to this time. In truth, she was confused, she didn't know who she was or what she wanted. She live in the shadows, longing for friendship, a partner, someone to love her the way she is. Her brothers don't know her. She doesn't know herself.

Skylar: He got his neckalace back and jogged up beside Ava. Hey, you alright? He slowed down to be in tune with her walking speed.

Ava looked up at him, surprised, "um.. yeah." she said, taking a deep breath, she looked at her paws for a moment, then looked up. "Thanks.. thanks for asking." she said, it had been a long time since someone had said anything nice to her.

Skylar: Oh okay, no problem. He didn't mind talking to new people. He took a deep breath. You look nice by the way. He said looking at the way ahead of him.

Ava smiled for the first time in... how long was it.. she thought for a moment... she couldn't remember. "Thanks." she said, glancing over at him, not sure what else to say.

Skylar: Welcome. He stopped. His ears perked and his hackles raised. He let out a deep growl. Watch out! He jumped over Ava and slammed into a rouge. They got up and shook the dirt off. They circled each other, growling and snarling. Hackles raised, eyes red, and claws out.

Ava cowered for a minute, the only thought going through her head was. he saved me.. he saved me then she snapped out it. I have to help him! She realized.

Stormy: He heard his father's growl. He jumped over Ava and landed next to his father. Hackles raised. Leave now! He growled in warning.

Rouge: He snarled at them and lowered to the ground. I take orders from no one! He lunged for Stormy. They wrestled. Skylar pulled the rouge off his son only to have him latch onto his forearm. Skylar ingored the pain and fought ferouciously. Stormy helped.

Ava considered joining them, but wasn't sure how they'd react. She knew the rogue two. She watched silently, trying to make up her mind.

Skylar: He snarled and slammed the rouge down. If your smart you'll leave now. The rouge tucked his tail and took off. Skylar stood there panting along with his son. Stormy went to clean a small scratch he had on his muzzel. Skylar had a set of bite marks just 2 inches below the shoulder. It showed which were the K-9's because that's the two teeth that went in the deepest. Skylar was to amped to feel anything.
